The first time I saw this episode as a kid, was when I recieved the "Sponge Buddies" VHS for my 5th birthday in 2002. And weirdly enough this was my favorite episode on that tape. Why? Because the second half where Bikini Bottom went up in flames I thought was pure comedy gold. I weirdly wasn't scared of the Wormy closeups growing up. But as an adult? Hell yeah I'm scared!

Can we (for the millionth time!) PLEASE stop trying to put words in Stephen’s mouth and acting like the spin-off’s are a sin against humanity just because he said a line in a interview that happened 9 YEARS before his death? Like he could’ve changed his mind between those 2 points. Not to mention he ALSO at first said no to making a movie. And I think we all know what happened afterwards. I’m not saying you aren’t allowed to dislike the spin-off’s or the new movies. But can we please stop using Stephen’s death as a legit reason to hate on them? This is a pretty decent video otherwise but those points where you complain about that kinda stuff just doesn’t make your video standout and just blend into the huge ocean of rant videos made against Nick in the past 5 and 1/2 years.

A fourth season was planned by the show's crew, but was postponed due to Nickelodeon wanting to cancel the show after the third season due to declining ratings and the show was becoming more expensive to make, another reason was because the show's production company DNA Productions closed in 2006 after the box-office failure of The Ant Bully (2006).

Coincidentally, Bill Fagerbakke would later voice the actual Frosty in The Legend of Frosty the Snowman. Tom Kenny would also voice the mayor in that special, too.

Never seen 'The Ant Bully', but I blame that movie for the cancellation of 'Jimmy Neutron'. Oh, how the show could've continued on. But "The League of Villains" closed the series nicely.

Its not fair, Season 4 could had been the best season ever. Character development, serialized stories, new villains, middle school, mature. Most of all Jimmy and Cindy stop acting like enemies and more of a couple.

This is what we mean when we say he hate woke. We don’t hate brown people the originals how was diverse and we didn’t care. It’s when it’s annoyingly in your face like this “sorry your diverse show isn’t diverse enough so it won’t happen!” WTF? Jimmy neutron does diversity perfectly! No race swaps, no stereotypes (accept Libby) everyone is a person not just a cardboard cut out and they don’t do it for woke points they do it because that’s just the creators vision. Great characters. Shoulda been greenlit. SpongeBob isn’t diverse and we love it 🤦‍♂️

The closest season 4 to Jimmy Neutron we got is Planet Sheen which was a disaster.

I always thought it was weird that Nickelodeon didn't decide to fund the show themselves after DNA Productions went bankrupt or why they didn't ask O Animation to work on it then. Jimmy Neutron should've gone on for 6 seasons. I guess they didn't care too much because of how huge Spongebob became. It's funny how even 20 years later, they're still hung up on Spongebob to the point that they won't even let other Nicktoons live past 2-3 seasons. I would love to see the show come back. If we do get a season 4, hopefully, it still gets the 26 episodes.

Man, this cartoon deserved a lot more.
