Literally dies twice to save the world and saved every single person's life in that room more times than you can count "you didn't earn those powers" never have I wanted to reach through my tv and smack someone more than Anya in that moment.

It's true she didn't earn it, she was cursed with it.

Dawn pissed me off the most in this episode. Buffy died for her. And she still kicked Buffy out of the house that she was raising and protecting her in. 🥴 and all her friends were being pricks too. Jealous pricks. 😅😬

Now I know why she keep using Spike as hed 'punching bag'....her escape from her so called 'friends' at least he will always been there for her.

She survived. Like seriously this whole sequence made no sense. The scoobise were there when Buffy went through everything but now they wanna switch up. Especially Willow of all people. Buffy forgave you for going Dark Willow. She didn't lay into you after you made yourself invisible and were getting eaten alive by that one demon. No she supported you and this is the thanks she gets. At this point she should have ran off with Spike

I watched Buffy religiously & hated when they turned on her, even Willow.

I never thought i would actually hate on Anya but Season 7 writers really worked hard to make it happen.

Bruh Buffy went thru hell as the slayer and her so called friends and support system were ALWAYS doing her like this lol being the slayer was a curse. Nobody ever gave Buffy grace, compassion, or understanding for everything she sacrificed and went thru FOR THEM.

I hate this monologue. It's so stupid and tone tough to what Buffy has been through. No she didn't earn it but she's definitely not lucky. I wouldn't call dying twice, having your memories rewritten a sister made out your own blood, her mom dying lucky. I hated season 7.

Personal experience versus being the one watching doesn’t make a huge difference to me. I’d encourage a daft dolt to say this to me about my father who was slowly passing say for three months. I hope I never have that experience, but I will never let someone tell me how I should feel

This show hated Buffy so much, I swear. Watching BtVS now is just watching Whedon gleefully torture every young woman on the show but especially Buffy. She wasn't allowed to have or keep even one good thing, over and over again.

She's insane. How can she have the nerve to say Buffy was lucky to be the slayer, when she saw most of the things Buffy went through ? It was not her choice, but everyone forced it on her, and she made so many sacrifices for it, with no rewards at the end of it, just because she had to do. They just have an inferiority complex because of how powerful, strong and resilient she is, and they took this opportunity to punish her for it. I think we can all agree to say that in this ep, they were all very hateful, I don't understand why they did this, but at least we got the most beautiful declaration ever from Spike thanks to this 🥲 .

1st Buffy never wanted to be a slayer in the first place, no girl would want to be one. 2nd Buffy earned it when she defeated the Master, she earned it when she was 18 and the watchers and Giles took her powers away and forced her to fight a demon without her power's. 3rd she earned it when she saved hee sister and the world by defratinf a fucking god and sacrificing herself. Ripped out of heaven and foeced to fight again.

The only response I could think of as Buffy is "How many times you saved the world, Anya? Any of you coulda done it _without_ me? Hahaha, Lucky? Have you seen my life? How many slayers before me were this successful? None. I've died multiple times and I couldn't _stay_ dead. You all brought _me_ back.
