Pillers is to hold the structure. In this case pillers are hanging on the roof that means there is no need of pillers so why did they build it

If really hanging, you should be able to enter from one side and exit from other side but one corner stops it that means all weight is concentrated at that point, so it’s not really hanging, it actually standing on single point
