    How can you know something is an experience from god? God doesn't outright tell you he's giving you an experience. Even if you genuinely do feel something profound and deeply personal, why instantly conclude it is god? I have confidence in certain skills I have, but it's because of the work that I did to achieve that skill. Why might I attribute that confidence to God?

      That is such a great question… Personal relationship and familiarity with God is the short answer. I agree with you that hard work and discipline can produce somewhat calculated outcomes and even a strong confidence in one’s self. (Which is not bad at all) I can even say that I, as a believer, don’t think it wise to immediately conclude that every thing is an experience from God. We must be wise, use discretion and be responsible with our faith walk and discerning in our judgements. Often times it is only after having exhausted my options, skills and abilities that I press into Him for the outcomes that I alone cannot produce. And, when time and time again despite my inadequacy I witness an outcome beyond anything I could achieve on my own, I recognize His hand in it, call it an experience and attribute it to Him. Confidence in myself is great to have, but I’ve learned that confidence in a God who transcends anything I could ever achieve is far better. I hope this answer helped, there is so much more to share… Thank you for your question my friend, blessings to you and all that you pursue.

      It does too matter my friend. So much. There is an intended purpose within you waiting to be uncovered so it can work it’s way out in your life.

      @breakthroughchurchlindsay408 okay. Life is meaningful for a cristian upto the point they are confident in their getting into heaven. The endless pure bliss of heaven devalues the meaning of their lives after that point.

    • @breakthroughchurchlindsay408
      @breakthroughchurchlindsay408 10 місяців тому

      @@paul_the_mage though I respect your perspective I must disagree. The promise of heaven and the incredible transformation that we as believers experience in Christ here on earth produces in us a drive to want others to experience the same. This is why we as Christian’s do our best to spread the good news! The wonder, bliss and security of heaven is one of our greatest motivators.

      @paul_the_mage 10 місяців тому

      @@breakthroughchurchlindsay408 so, after a cristian is sure of their entrance into heaven... the value of their life becomes contingent on evangelism? They live meaningful lives to the extent that they bring others closer to their own religious beliefs and practices?

    In other words if I believe says the protestant, I am saved, no mater what I have done, what I am doing or what shall I do in the future.

      Thank you so much for your comment. In an effort to clarify a bit more on your perceived position of “a Protestant belief” (Not our own), I would say… What I have done is covered by his blood, what I am doing is covered by His grace (upon genuine repentance) and what shall I do in the future is to come boldly to his throne understanding and accepting that He is gracious and merciful anytime I humble myself before Him. Again, I genuinely appreciate your comment and the opportunity to clarify the perceived position you mentioned. I appreciate your work in making sure the word of God is being held in absolute truth. Blessings to you my friend

    Folks don't know if this is true. The Bible says,"don't put the Lord your God to the test." Jesus says many times, that we have little or no faith when we ask for miracles to believe.

    • @breakthroughchurchlindsay408

      Seth, I appreciate your insight and we absolutely never want to put God to the test as the Pharisees did. For there request came as a people who already claimed to believe in and know God. I was referring to those who do not know him personally but want to. There is no shame in asking for God to reveal himself to those who do not know Him but genuinely desire relationship. Blessings to you my brother, thank you for caring enough to make sure the kingdom is being represented properly.
