Associate Professor Michael Cowling (sometimes known as Professor Tech) has been a leader in educational technology and computer science education for over 20 years. He is currently an Associate Professor in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at CQUniversity Australia where he teaches in complex educational settings across six metropolitan/regional campuses, face to face and online. He also founded The CREATE Lab, where he leads collaborative research and engagement around technology and education. He is an Advance Queensland Community Digital Champion, and an Australasian Society for Computers in Learning in Tertiary Education (ASCILITE) Community Fellow. His workshop series ‘Weaving Technology into the Fabric of the Classroom’ has trained hundreds of educators about innovative technology, and in the ‘Professor Tech’ program he has presented to students in over a dozen K-12 schools, all whilst delivering his mantra of 'pedagogy before technology'.

Fantastic! I hope you invite Dr Camille back for a deep-dive on the use of DBs, given students can be reticent to use them in the academic setting
Perhaps one of the most critical points to come across from all of the presenters is the importance of deciding exactly what a collaboration looks like for a project. Surfacing all those different expectations before the substantive work starts happening can help deal with a lot of potential stress before it becomes a real thing.
