Also i noticed you didnt try the spam calls (enabled through the options). Either way this was good feedback!

Hey , there is one thing you missed in slider screen ( where there is 5 slider to adjust) if you see on top right side there is hint options which is manually off but player can turn it on for little idea. Yeah i agree about feedback system you talking about and we will work on it. Soon it will be added in a game.

strange to see at turn 61 zero improved tiles in capital, besides stone and sphinx.
Most of it was flat land that I was planning to put districts over, so improvements would have had limited value. Additionally, my early capture of the Maori created additional map area that I needed to spend early resources on for unit production to suppress danger from barbs pillaging.

The trade offs in this game are interesting. There is always an opportunity cost.
What mods are you running for those natural wonders?
Sukritact's Fuji, Ngorongoro Crater, Grand Canyon, and Great Blue Hole. I also had Sukritact's Oceans on as well.

Gotta love Barb Clans Mode, you get things like a Scythian Samurai Corps takes out the Persian capital! I got carried away with this challenge and kept trying to win faster. Finally got it down to winning in 22 turns. I have a video of it on my channel if you're interested. GG on the win!

Yes it can be; given the terrain, I imagine I will need to go for bites. I will also need to make sure my economy can support the push and train replacements. I imagine I will need to develop more before I can hit Egypt core territory.

The Legionnaires kill each unit with two attacks. While the player himself needs half a dozen or more attacks to kill a legionnaire. This scenario is hell for players with low frustration tolerance.
I agree this is a rough scenario; the difficultly ramp between this scenario and the last is steep
Why did they just rip off civ? I don't understand.
To some extent any TBS civ game that goes from an ancient to modern/slight futuristic era can be accused of copying Sid Meier's civ. However, I think the domains of government aspect makes it a little different. Also when you put down a new city (other than your first), it starts as a colony that has to develop and then feeds into another city. You have to pay government exp. (I think) to get it as its own city. Another thing that the game has, but the demo did not allow you to get far into, is goods production chains (i.e. 2-3 wheat can be milled into flour which produces twice as much food as the wheat alone). Ultimately, I think it is for each player to decide whether it is too close another game to be worth paying for another game in this genre or does it provide a different experience that is worth cost.

When you get a 'protect the station' mission, the enemy will NEVER attack the station. Never EVER, period. Good vid.
Yeah; but then it asks the design question: why even have that mission type?
Let's talk Psychology. By naming each fleet after the planet they are watching, mentally, you are committing to keeping them there rather than having a mobile fleet that can make 2 jumps or more to engage in a fight. This limits you because in your mind, that fleet should not wander far from the planet it is named after. Do you see the problem? Another thing that fans simply don't like, and this is not related to this game, is when a Tuber plays a game that involves character creation. When you make a goofy character like 'King Nutsucker' it distances that character from you and it shows a certain lack of care, which the viewers do see. Characters should be made in your image or the image of someone you would like to picture yourself as. If you stop caring about your character, people will stop caring about your videos. It's just fact. By the way, that was a tough loss. 2 Battlestars. You took it well though, Good vid.
I agree that naming character something just for kicks in a story and character driven game breaks immersion, but this is a strategy and tactics driven game where being able to make a strategic evaluation and explain it is more important in my view. Consequently, I used my naming method to minimize the amount of time I need to check where something is. While the garrison fleets primarily stayed at their guard objectives to ensure high income for me, I did use them to for local missions. Since I eventually established strong garrisons in all four star systems, I think it worked well to get the secondary missions and keep income high.

Some victories are marginal indeed
Manticores have a view range of 7000. Every other ship has 5000. I'm sure you know that setting defensive posture increases sight range. AND, you will be glad when you find out you only have to select your ships and right click on an enemy or friendly to perform actions like fire munitions, focus fire or defend. Huge time saver when you don't have to use the left/right arrows. Good vid.
I think I end up there where I start trying to keep a Manticore in big fleets later
I tested multiple ships in skirmish mode, one on one. If I set the slider to full defensive, I lose 5 out of 5. Set to balanced, I lose 3 out of 5. Set to full aggressive I win 5 out of 5. Test it yourself. Defensive mode is for fast repairs and scanning range. Balanced is for speed and maneuverability. Aggressive mode is for fighting. There is no need for defensive unless there is an enemy you haven't identified yet or a subsystem is damaged. Again, you can set up a 1v1 ship battle in skirmish mode and try it yourself. Good vid. EDIT: There, my point exactly. How did full defense help that Manticore?
Absolutely correct; I will be better about that later on in the series and generally sticking at aggressive except for particular ships at particular times.

Depending on the hint, I may or may not have figured it out later. But since there series is concluded, I definitely cannot implement in this playthrough.

I have chosen dance of the aurora as my pantheon. This was quite strong and, with the stave church, brought over 20 adjacency bonus at the holy sites in the tundra region. Adding work ethic as belief in your religion, i got tons of production early on.
I was also considering that but food was also an early challenge and feed the world countered that problem. I think both are valid strategies.
I also considered the food issue but mitigated it by building breathtaking preserves. Cash bought most groves with plundered gold. I ended up building 22 preserves… the extra culture and faith was nice too. Most cities wound up working 4-6 breathtaking tiles.
That certainly is a way to solve the food issue. I solved my production issue with high adjacency harbors and shipyards.@@michaelbacchiocchi8111

New to Civ 6, no. I have a bunch of other play throughs on the channel. But this is the first time playing this scenario.

@Vuvuvu75 I understand what you are saying. But I can't afford to buy a decent PC at the prices theses day. All I got is an Xbox X. It doesn't do to bad with the city builder games like Dawn of man, Anno 1800 and so on. Yes the interface can be difficult to use but I get used to it.
I think only PC at this time; I went on the publisher's website and it was not listed under the games they tagged for Xbox or PS4. Unfortunately, I did not see anything about it being ported to console.

In late game, I always have an Atlas. For some reason, the Cylon AI always seems to target it at least 50% of the time. I put a battle star (in this case a Jupiter), sitting right on top of it so the flak can help. Remember, an Atlas is SLOOOOW. It's easy to leave it behind. I only go as fast as the slowest ship I have.Remember, Defensive Posture does not mitigate damage. What it does is repair your subsystems faster. Sweepers dispense chaff, not shoot down missiles or torpedoes. If you had chaff going behind the transport, it would have helped. You may want to view the Atlas's turret arks and the guns.
I like the heavy guns on the Atlas combined with double viper makes it a very efficient unit. After using it for a bit a realized that it was forward aiming guns.
Why do you have game sounds off? Its like watching a silent movie.
Unfortunately, there was a settings error in OBS for episode 32 and 33. I have it fixed by episode 34.
If you need to take a ship out of the line due to battle or hacking AND some of the systems are damaged, you can go full defense and the systems will repair faster.
Good to know, but sometimes, I hit the boost thrust just to get them out of the fight faster.

I put the Manticore as far out front towards the enemy and go full defense posture. At the same time I send two Vipers squadrons (sometimes all) to protect it because it almost always gets attacked by torpedoes, Raiders and missiles first. Then, judging the situation, I almost always bring the Manticore back to the fleet on boost thrusters and set my Vipers on their Raiders (or whatever).
That's a good strategy to draw missile fire with minimal risk; thanks.
WOW! I've never seen an all Minotaur SDU fleet. Goes to show you (and me) that this game can through us for a loop. BTW, you can promote an officer as many times in one sitting as you like as long as you have the points.
I know I can promote them but I want to wait until I get the discount over a planet unless it will get me at least 5K in fleet strength. Also I'm trying to make sure I have enough APs for all new blueprints when they come available.
I laughed when I saw this mission and the fleet you had. It would be best to do it over when you have the forces AND Daidalos with you (for the extra Vipers).
Oh I knew it was a bad idea, but sometimes you just want to see if you can do it.
