Trying out some faster Betaflight rates

Trying faster rates. From 860 (Actual Rates) to 1050, also changed to linear throttle. I like flying with the higher rates. It's fun, but I'm thinking of going back because I find that I don't care for it in terms of footage. I'm not a smooth enough pilot for high rates. #quadcopter #djidrone #walksnail #hdzero #iflight #geprc #radiomaster #speedybee #fpv #freestyle #ethix #hqprops #xing #ghost...

Just got the slim to use on my motorcycle. 👍
Do you have any videos recorded from the chest pack? Wanting to use it for skiing but I’m skeptical of the angle from the chest pack being too high. Thanks
Don't have any posted, but i plan to include footage on an up coming video. It acually works out pretty well. when riding An EUC you get a lot of the ground or sky while accelerating or braking hard but 95% good footage . Obviously you get you hands in the shot at times, but it's essetially a body cam. the pack is pretty flat against your chest so i would assume body type could play a role but the pack is pretty adjustable. i'll try to post footage by the weekend.
The Pidzoom Helmet Mirror works well. You should put the Hand Mirror on the other hand so as you have safety all round and trust the Pidzoom Mirror more. It's better to have visibility on both sides, than relying on one side, to see what's coming from behind, or beside you.
@@RicardoMedford I thought about that, but I don't find myself using the hand mirror almost ever. By turning my head, the helmet mirror allows me to see both sides surprisingly well.
Good idea for a video! )) Nice to see the progress!
@@SunStorm_EUC thanks! Still getting better.

@@Stefonewheel thanks bro! I'm trying to get better. You ride safe as well..
The V8 was my 1st wheel also, and then I was instantly hooked! ... LOL
@@ThaBlackCobra Yeah I was hooked instantly also, even though the first month was literally painful 😆

😂Bro, the same thing happened to me I started on a V8 inmotion and got completely hooked !! great vid!!
@@Vince4343 thanks! Yeah this ECU thing is definitely addictive. I wish I found it sooner
GG. pro now. i just started being able to ride my begode falcon i got in june. lol
Wow! Your jump from V5f to V8s to Lynx is amazing! I just starting riding last week with a V8s. Unfortunately, the second day learning I wiped out at a fence and injured my elbow on a fence post (didn't put my elbow pads on). I hope to be back riding next week. I hope to learn and get comfortable soon. Don't think I will progress as fast as you but definitely encouraging to see. Safe riding.
@MichaelHollandOne You'll get there. I thought I would never get better whenn i started, but one day, it just kind of clicked. I rode the v8 for about 2 weeks before I outgrew it, i got the v8s and grew out of it in about a month, and then i ordered the lynx. It took about a week to get used to the weight and power. After dialing in the setup, I never looked back. Hope you get better soon. Make sure you're geared up when you ride, no matter the speed.
nice progression, bro
Thanks!
Nice 😊

That shortened kickstand looks so good!
Thanks! Took 3 days to print but worth it! One time the stock one clipped a curb and scared the shit out of me LOL
@@Ghostman_fpv that is one pro to having it tilted forward. More kickstand clearance.
@@BigORider I run like 2 negative. I feel better with the shorter stand. I don't even think about clipping anymore. I think they shorted the one on the Sherman L.
if you can make that same one fit the front without rubbing that would be amazing so you can have a spot to mount a speaker/light. Looks amazing! I want a similar one for my Lynx
That sounds cool! I hadn't thought of that. I may try to design something.
Super Straight back and chest out when braking and brake hard, and the wobbles will not happen on that wheel. I'm coming up on 2000 miles on my Lynx and it has been flawless. I lowered the pedals and installed E-rides pedals, huge improvement. Installed EUC Clubhouse oversized jump pads, big improvement. Removed the kickstand and trimmed the rear fender with a Dremel tool. And installed the Shinko 244 tire. It's dialed! If you get a speed wobble when going fast, carve and accelerate and it will stop immediately. It's just kind of scary and counterintuitive. When learning how to ride seated be sure to keep your weight distributed across your heels and the balls of your feet, go bowlegged, rather than only bending your knees going down with all of your weight on the balls of your feet, and the wheel will not wobble. Then grab the front handle and just sit down. You want to practice this at close to 20 miles an hour and not at a slow speed. Have fun! I'm almost 60 years old and it is the funnest damn toy I have ever had on my life. All my friends think I'm nuts!
@@boblatkey7160 definitely time on the wheel gets rid of wobbles. I started with a lot of brake wobbles, but now I rarely get them. I'm about 1000 miles in.
Very nice..
what adaptor is that for ev charge...how can I look online for?
I got it from Alien Riides site. The Link is in the discription

Thanks! trying to get better.
Will this work on any filiment printer ?
Personally I don’t agree with the Ban. But I know if it actually goes through, lots of lawsuits will be filed towards Stefanik and Skydio. Skydio is overall responsible probably due to pressures from investors. I don’t think they understand how many jobs will be lost and investments not only from real estate, farmers, companies, etc that depends on the tech.🤷🏻♂️ The only way American drone companies can ever compete is through cheap labor to make drone innovation and compete with DJI. I haven’t met a single American willing to work for less than a dollar an hour.🤷🏻♂️ China can do it since they don’t have to spend much money on wages but focus it more on improving their tech.
Also the chinese government invest in tech companies like DJI to stay ahead. America gets spooked by every Karen who calls in to complain about the drone that flew within 2 square miles of their house..
@@Ghostman_fpv US will never be as successful as China when it comes to commercial innovations. We don’t have cheap labor nor the man power willing to work cents on the dollar. China is ahead due to its cheap labor. They can focus the money on R&D. In comparison to most countries. US spends more money on R&D when it comes to these types of products. Even if the government do supply money on these commercial products, lots of people pocket the money. 🤷🏻♂️
Do you feel they fit on the smaller size or on the bigger size?
I think slightly on the larger side. I usually wear large but I bought medium. I felt like they were slightly tight at first but now that they're worn in they fit perfect. I would definitely use the chart on the site before purchasing. It may take a long time to receive them so I don't want to think about getting replacements.
@@Ghostman_fpv Awesome, I just ordered mines, thanks!
Nice build bro 👌
Thanks bro!
I bought the power knobz with the lights and they look and work really well. You will have to remove the toe block mount in the front. Just know they are clearly wider making your wheel wider for storage/transportation.
I've been really think about ordering the PK. do you think they're worth swaping out the Grizllas?
Does the fan make less noise at lower amps?
not really
Love the color! I have a Roger SC smart charger for my Lynx. It has Bluetooth and you can setup ramp down at your choice of voltage including the decimal point. Then saw this one come out 2 weeks later
I've been trying to get the Roger Charger but he has't answered me on Telegram. I'll try to meet up with him on one of the group rides since i live close to where they ride.
What’s good man. Nice wheel. Grizzla pads are dope with the lights. Check out my wheel and grizzla pads. Btw I subscribed.
Just ordered one, thank you..
I just got my pair of these a week ago. I've gotten a bit over 150 miles on them now. I love them. They are a bit warm for the summer but I suppose you could always get the fingerless gloves if thats an issue. Great video and thank you for sharing!
I thought about summer use. It's not too warm yet. But I guess I'll see soon. I love the gloves though. I may pick up the fingerless also.
@@Ghostman_fpv The same thought had already crossed my mind too haha. Great minds think alike a guess.
Hi man , its worth it to upgrade to avata 3.5 inch? I want to use it with go pro hero 12 .
I'ts worth it in my opinion. it's way more stable, more power and more quiet. However, if you're not a fairly advanced builder and/or you're worried about your warranty , i wouldn't do it.
It took me several months and giving up twice but I finally learned to ride seated. I'm a big dude 6ft2 260 pounds I thought it just wasn't in the cards for me I thought I wasn't agile enough but one step at a time I got there. I gorilla taped another pad to my lynx seat that came from ewheels that extra couple inches really helped. It's too much to explain on a YT comment but don't give up or get discouraged.
I'm starting to get fairly comfortable seated. I still won't do it in traffic though. I also keep one hand on the handle. I'm getting there. I really want to be comfortable seated because it's almost always a small but steady wind blowing where I live since I'm near the beach.
I also put the lowering kit on and I rode it for a few days but I didn't like it so I went back to the original height. I think the lowering kit made the wheel boring and not as nimble.
I had pretty bad brake wobbles but no speed wobbles. With the stock height I have no brake wobbles but very small speed wobbles.
Nice! The pads look cool 👌🏼
Thanks! Still trying to get the right placement, almost there i think.
Just ordered my lynx today, I went for 66lbs suspension, and instantly ordered a grizzla set with them!
I have the 66lb also. Seems more than enough for me at 215lbs plus my FPV gear is about another 30lbs. Suspension feels fine, no bottom out or anything.
For seated riding, but lots of foam on the Lynx for a high seat. Transitioning will be fast. First learn to ride seated without transition. Just ride seated.
I finally starting to get it. I rode like 3 blocks seated recently and that's a long way for me. I think partially I was scared to stand up again 😆
That is often considered bad advice. It's better to learn transitioning, and learn how to do it slowly so that you don't wobble and you know what you're doing. Just do the transitioning at close to 20 miles an hour and you won't have any problems. Don't do it slow.
@boblatkey7160 I have seen lots videos which started with riding seated and then transitioning. So all these videos gave bad advice? Mostly, I don't think in bad or good. There is just a difference. And not everybody learns the same way.
@@BunnyslippersEUC yes, I personally think it's a terrible way to learn. And a recipe for a crash. You won't crash if you practice while going at least 20 miles an hour. Not once. But otherwise you are absolutely correct! The beauty of the electric unicycle is that so many people will tell you how to do something best, but you will find that a lot of that advice is terrible, and you will find your own way that is best, just for you. There is no correct way. The best way is the way that works for you! Take care and have fun! ❤️
I just pre-ordered the lynx it makes me nervous ever person mentions the wobbles. I feel it should have less because it's a bigger wheel
It is very top heavy. Only at high speeds you get the wobble. E-Rides has footplates you can lower for more stability.
you get used to the wobbles and learn to dampen them.
I wish I had that kinda money
Yeah this is an expensive hobby. I'm just used to it because all my hobbies are expensive lol.
@@Ghostman_fpv ain't that the truth ❤
I don’t know anything really I’ve never tried one but I see some of the good riders are always “carving” from side to side like skiing, even when they are on a straight road! They grab the bar with one hand before they sit. I think you guys make it look so much easier than it is, looks so fun tho ❤
Carving helps stability a lot I learned. I'm just starting to really learn seated riding. It was the transition from standing to seated that was hard for me. Once you're seated, it's not bad. You feel really stable. And YES it's a blast. I rarely drive anymore. I ride every chance I get. It's very therapeutic once you get over the initial anxiety. You see places you usually just drive past with out even notice, you meet all types of people. If you ever get the chance, try it!
@@Ghostman_fpv This comment was 2 weeks ago I already bought my wheel now haha 😅 I just got InMotion V8S to start with, I know my first wheel is to learn and it gonna get bashed around. It’s so hard to ride but I’m gonna keep trying 💪🏼
@@ineedue lol yeah I know. I don't get a chance to check my comments very often with my job and a 1 Year old. Basically my first wheel was the V8S. I say basically because I started with a v5 and I outgrew that in days lol. So I bought the V8S . I actually still have my V8S. I keep it in the truck of my car in case I park somewhere far from where I have to go, also I usually ride it on to lunch. You'll get the hang of it. You have the perfect wheel to learn with. I bought the Lynx after getting comfortable on the V8S. Just make sure you wear your gear. Even at V8S speeds , you can get hurt.. ask me how I know 😆
Just found your channel. Nice video!🔥🔥 I have a OG Sherman and I Love it so I can only imagine how good the LYNX feels on the road I'm not sure what tire pressure you're riding at but you can always try lowering it a bit. This can help reduce getting wobbles.
Thanks for watching! I'm now at 30psi plus I installed Grizzla pads. Wobbles are pretty rare now . Even when I get them , it's minimal. The Lynx is a great all around wheel. I know the ET Max is fast and the v14 is probably better off road but the Lynx is very good in all those areas. I'm not a super hardcore off roader but, it does very well and street rides are fantastic! Even on the knobby tire, I get to 50mph without even realizing it. Once I setup the Grizzla pads it became a rocket!
@@Ghostman_fpv Fantastic!! I'm waiting on some new pads to arrive. Stay safe out there and enjoy your weekend.
@@Ghostman_fpvwow! I’m 6’5” 245 geared and haven’t really gone past 35mph. I’m sure it will increase with practice and experience
@@BigORider it will increase. I found the right setup is everthing with the lynx.
I find it odd that using the stock height is more stable than having the lower height. It’s usually the opposite.
Yeah, that's what I was told. My hypothesis is that since the Lynx is pretty top heavy, the higher pedals dampens that top weight if that makes sense. Like if you take a pencil or something, pinch it at the bottom and wiggle it around, as opposed to pinching it up near the middle. Pinching it near the middle will make it a bit more difficult to wiggle the top of the pencil. At least that's how I looked at it. But in any case, it made my wheel much more stable. I'm learning that with the Lynx, setup is very important. When you get it right, it's a beast! I hit 50MPH for the first time after changing to stock height.
I was stunned by this too.
Thanks for the video brother. Good insight !
No problem, I'll put more out when I put in a little more miles. So far it's a fantastic wheel.
Holly shit, you bought the Lynx with only 2 months experience. Good idea getting the pedal hangers that lower the height for a few months. I hear you, my knees sure feel it after an hours ride. Oh man, I am so jealous, good on you :)
I end up putting back the stock hangers. I got a lot of wobbles with the lowering kit. The stock hangers give me rock solid stability. Took a day to get used to the higher pedals but it's perfect now.
Congrats on your new wheel, I just subbed, have fun
thanks so much. Appreciated
Great video bro… you’ve inspired me to get started. I’ve been holding off because I really want the big wheel, but don’t want to spend so much. I’m feeling comfortable now to get something like v10 to get my feet wet first… Respect 👊
Hey, bro if you haven't already, DO IT! i;ve been having a blast.
Congrats man, That is a good looking wheel you have there. I just Subbed to your channel.
Thanks for the sub! highly appreciated.
$3,000 ? Just have a Question, why People Buy EUC for that Price and Not just Get a Regular Street Bike🤷♂️
I rode streetbikes for years. EUCs ride completely different. Nothing quite compares to an EUC. Its like an extension of your own body. Makes you feel like a superhero with special powers. LOL
You can go places you won't be able to get to on a street bike. why not have both?
Was the size of it as big as you imagined it or smaller?
I honestly Thought it would feel larger and heavier. It's definetly a large wheel, but i thought i would truggle with it more.
Those are sharp! I was thinking about Alpinestar shoes. I also got the petal lowering kit on my Lynx. I don’t like the super locked in feel w/the toe pads so I’ll probably take them off and go with Nylonove kinetic pads.
I thought about removing the stock jump pads but I ordered the grizzla flows with the extended jump pad. I generally have the jump pad like 1 1/2 inch from my boots, but I found that I like being able to lock my foot down easily when I need to.
