I love the thought of the Royal Family at service with the people of the nation. Not some private service. That speaks humility. Very nice ❤
Hi Ethan! I have forgotten to tell you, that we sing this hymn in our church in the Netherlands too, but of course with Dutch lyrics. I was first thinking, maybe I should play you a version myself on my house organ, but as it's late at night here, I have found you a nice version on UA-cam to take a look at. I hope, that you like it too. ua-cam.com/video/s2MlJTCNDgQ/v-deo.html
Well done Ethan. I'll keep saying it, one day you will be the new organist of St. Mark. Just because, 1. my name's Mark too and 2. you're the one with the best musical skills. And 3. So that you can start making video's while playing on that organ, for UA-cam on a regular basis. 😊
Happy Pentecost Sunday, Ethan! We did indeed sing this today in Church! Keep praying for St. Mark’s in Philadelphia; they are in a rough spiritual spot. God bless!
I’m especially having their pastor in my prayers.
@@ethangplayspiano8993 Thanks for your reply! They have secured an interim rector who is holding focus group meetings with the congregation. I think that there’s spiritual issues with the church that needs to be dealt with. You simply don’t lose a longtime rector and music director within one year for frivolous reasons. Stay in prayer.
Hi, Ethan! We sang this at my church, Church of the Heavenly Rest in Abilene, TX, this morning. I really enjoyed your playing on this fantastic hymn.
That was a difficult piece --- You played it well ! --- Thank You and May God Bless You Always
Thanks, Have a great Pentecost Sunday!
@@ethangplayspiano8993 Thank You, Ethan ! --- You are so thoughtful
👍....excellent!
👍....
👍.....Being that this video is four years old, the boy's legs must have grown a bit to get them pedals good. We would like an encore!
Awesome!
Very nice hymn Ethan, now start playing your very own version and upload it to your channel.😊
What a magnificent descant!
Thanks Ethan for sharing such a powerful hymn -- Just listen to the organ -- You'll play like that soon ! ❤
Hi Ethan. Very beautiful! Keep them in your prayers. They have an interim rector coming in.
WOW This is highly impressive to see a young boy playing a very complicated musical instrument. This child is going places. I really hope he studies hard & stays with it he's got some serious talent.
I LOVE this child ! Brilliant Ethan - NEVER give up Music ! Take care 🙂
That sure is a very nice video Ethan, All Glory Laud and Honor is indeed a really lovely hymn. But I guess, you haven't played it, have you? Because you said, that all credits go to St. Mark's. It's been a while, since you've uploaded something played by yourself, I think, you should try uploading that hymn you've mentioned in the comments down below. Because that hymn Jesus Christ is risen Today, also is a very beautiful hymn! I have played it, a while ago too. I'm already looking forward to your improvisation about it now! 😊Heh, I think, I'm gonna play it right now too, before calling it a day. See ya later buddy.
Ethan that was a perfect prelude to the joy of Easter -- Bless you and your family -- God Love You !
Jesus Christ is Risen Today should be uploaded on mar 31 12:00 PM EST (maybe I haven’t made plans for that but probably around that time)
Sorry about the late upload btw, next time I promise I will be earlier then this
Hi Ethan! Very beautiful indeed! Thanks for posting this. Pray for St. Mark’s as they go through some major transitions. Thanks and God bless!
I wish I was old enough to be able to become a organist there, I feel like I would be a good fit for them. Happy palm Sunday/easter!
@@ethangplayspiano8993 Hi Ethan. Keep working hard at your musical skills and you will end up in a beautiful church like St. Mark’s. Think about trying to get into the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia. St. Mark’s seems to get interns from there from time to time. Thanks for responding!
@@Modeltnick im hoping to go to Philadelphia next year but I won’t ask to play I would just worship there.
@@Modeltnick im hoping St Mark’s would be in a better position in the next year aswell.
@@ethangplayspiano8993Ethan, Philadelphia is a beautiful city with lots of things to do and see. If you go, you should also see the Wanamaker organ in Macy’s and the Midmer-Losh organ at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. If you ask, you should be allowed to play any of these majestic organs, including St. Mark’s.
If you’re wondering where I gave credits they’re in the description
WOW ! What a talented child - NEVER give up playing the Organ ! 🙂
Just found this child - FABULOUS ! Keep up the music - you were born to play ! Take care 🙂
Boo
I think I've forgotten to comment this last time. It's a really beautifully played hymn Ethan. You could use this to play during the time before the church service starts or maybe rather to fill up the time during the collection. Unfortunately the comments are turned off in your last video, so let's do that here instead. The past days I was asking myself; well it's been a while since we've last seen something from Ethan, let's hope the wait won't be too long until a new video is coming. And look here it is! It was really nice to listen to it, but wasn't it better to upload this on a national holiday? 😊
Hey Ethan! Pray for St. Mark’s, they just had their pastor resign. A tough time for them.
Wonderful! Listening this as I prepare to go to church this morning! I love the lighting that comes in through the windows and silhouettes the bass viol! Your stop registration is very thoughtfully done. Thanks, Ethan!
Nice solo, Ethan ! -- Soft and Delicate -- Bless You !
Ethan, Thank You for your Valentine's Day gift to us Bless You As Always And PLAY ON, LAD !
Amazing! Very talented, praise the Lord!
Beautiful, as usual!
