theres a similar mod but for Half-Life called Timeline which combines Wolfenstein and Half-Life is kinda unbalanced on hard but i recommend it
In the final version of E1M6 in the large hangar type room near the start of the map, where the 4 monster closets open up, I swear I remember another secret closet opening from within one of those closets. Am I crazy? This has haunted me, from my childhood. Replaying the level recently, I was searching those closets trying to open a secret accessed from within them. I also played the map in coop with my brother recently and he also was like "wait, wasn't there a secret in this room?". Are we sharing a shared delusion? Have we emerged from an alternate reality into this one? Looking at the beta versions list of the E1M6 which you can find websites about, which list the changes in previous versions, at no point does it mention a secret closet opening from one of those 4 closets in that room, or any secret in that room ever existing. Am I truly crazy? How do I remember this as something that actually existed.
I am an OG gamer from the days of atari 2600, been playing doom since the 90s, and yes, that does kinda ring a bell. I swear there a few "secret within a secret" locations in the game, maybe we are remembering something else? Perhaps it is possible that a sector opens up for multiplayer?
@@EclecticCircleOfMagic Perhaps it was from a console version of Doom or something. I don't think I've imagined it, I think there's just no info on it online. Lol this reminds me of Dark City and the guy's memories of Shell Beach and never being able to find it. But he knows it's real and it's out there somewhere! Anyway thanks for the reply. If I ever discover it, I will remember to come back here and post an update.

This WAD is compatible only with GZDoom?
I didn't remember casings flying out of weapons in any of Doom's beta builds that we've seen online.
It's just an addition to the mod that I implemented.
@@TheTimmynatoRex It was a planned feature but wasn’t ever implemented. The sprites existed in some of the betas.
