Heyaaa! We brought USD just a tad below 10k USD (equiv to CAD) because anything above 10k CAD that is with you, as per immig guidelines, you have to declare upon arrival. Our POF remained in our savings account that was accessible thru atm. We did not bring any bank drafts or bank note for transfers. What we did was use the cash that we had to open our bank accounts here then funds on our savings account - we used our atm as debit card to pay for everything until it was depleted. And if we needed cash or fund a major spend, we just withdraw thru ATM then either deposit to our accounts here or pay in cash. ☺️ We chose the simpler route because we did not want to be bothered with wire transfers and stuff, lol! And! yes! That’s actually a great idea, I have been asked about our POF a handful of times already, I’ll make a vid about it, I just have to do a little research just to update myself again of the options how to bring in POF, lol! I can only remember what we did at this point! 😂

Hi, @KIGS0293 I'm not really updated on how the current job market really looks like here but for sure Doctors, Nurses & Teachers are needed but these are regulated jobs. Based from what I know the easy to fill jobs are on housekeeping, restaurants/food chains and skilled work for maintenance such as plumbing, electricians and the likes.

Hello! Sorry, now ko lang nakita yung comment mo. Omg! Sa POF hindi na nanghingi ng additional docs. Isa lang pinasa ko, yung Bank Statement lang. Wala ng ADR. Usually pag hindi sila satisfied sa sinubmit mo, makakareceive ka lang ng ADR for additional proof, they also specify sa ADR kung ano kailangan mo iprovide - if ever.

Is this for employment/work experience? If you have it and if you can provide it, might as well have it submitted as reference. I submitted all the tax references that I had. I only had copies for 5 random years.

Heyaa! @akasachannel8702 you can submit a copy of your business registration or business tax filing certificate. If you are from PH, those are BIR permits & Tax returns certificate. You can also submit copies of client contracts or service/supply agreement. ☺️

@@giezelleannvillamor4893 no, job offer is not required. Tho, depending on your CRS score, having a job offer will give you a higher score which means more chances of being drawn. But if you have family member here in SK, in most cases, points from that would be enough for you to have a high CRS points.

@@kokak0398 not yet, pero naka ready na lahat and meron na din ako IELTS and ECA - for both of these, kelangan mo na ilagay yung score & educ equiv on your EOI. Then, for the other documents kaya sya naka ready na is because pwede ka na ma invite agad in a week or two, depende sa draw schedule. And pag naka receive ka na ng invite, pwede mo na isubmit agad yung application mo if complete ka na with the docs and aandar na agad yung processing time mo. But, you actually have 60 days to complete your application after mo maka mareceive ang EOI. ☺️

@oo, pag nareceive mo na yung ITA, mag uupdate na rin oasis mo. Magkakaron ng madaming tabs for you to upload yung docs. Sa ITA submission, madalas yung iba, since hindi pa kailangan ng attachments, nag eestimate yung IELTS score nila and yung ECA nila - okay lang naman siguro yon, kaso ang probs what if hindi match ang IELTS at ECA na nilagay mo vs sa actual result mo. Personally, ayoko na ng ganon problem kaya talagang sina-suggest ko na at least yung dalawang yon, meron ka na naka ready para tugma lahat. All others like employment reference pwede mo iprepare within 60days, pati birth certifs and all, madali nalang. 🤙🏼

It’s honestly easier to find a job when you are here already. But you can try Indeed, Linkedin or Canada jobs search for jobs while you are waiting for nomination. It will be a long shot but I know some companies do consider applicants that are yet to arrive in Canada.

If OID yung pathway mo, just stick to it. From what I know hindi na kailangan ng EE profile if OID ang pathway. As for the POF, what I suggest is dapat ready na yung full amount 3mos before you submit EOI, kasi pag nabigyan ka agad ng invite, tuloy tuloy na yung process. It’s very possible kasi na in 1-2weeks makareceive ka ng invite and once you receive the invite, submission na kagad ng docs. The earlier you complete the submission, the sooner ma process yung application mo. But the requirement is 3mos maintained ang required average ng POF upon submission of the document. So for example nareceive mo invite ngayon, as I remember you have 60days to complete it, so may 2mos ka. Ibig sabihin at least 1 more than 1month na yung POF mo sa bank then kukuha ka ng POF document sa ika 3rd month ng amount, para yun yung document na isusubmit mo.

@@kokak0398 mas matagal lang ata yung batch processing pag OID? hindi ako sure. Pero as long as complete yung docs mo and walang problema dere-derecho lang yung process unless may system delays lang.

@@veracruz5546 Hi! Were you able to proceed with creating your profile right after taking the eligibility test? Maybe check again on your answers with the eligibility check vs your actual profile. This is the first time that I heard about this happening. You should also not declare that you are nominated if you don't have a nomination yet, because that will be misrepresentation. If you are applying through a PNP program and should you be nominated, your nomination to whichever province will automatically be linked on your EE.

Naku, pasensya na po, hindi ko alam yung sagot sa tanong mo. But what I can say is, may mga application talaga na natatagalan. Maalala ko noon may nabasa rin ako na, same pathway ko sya and inabot sya ng 1 1/2yr din bago nakareceive ng invite.

Hello! @Joie-z8b Ideally dapat before ka mag gawa ng EE is ready na yung POF mo -- at least na maintain mo na yung required POF ng 3mos. Kasi if ever makareceive ka ng ITA and complete lahat ng requirements mo, tuloy tuloy na yung pagpasa mo and pag process ng application mo. Once you receive the ITA, i think you only have 60 days to complete your application. Kaya if wala ka pang ready na POF by the time na may ITA ka na, kulang ang 60days to open an account and/or meet the 90days to maintain yung average balance of your required POF. Then pag nagsend ka na ng EOI, wala ng galawan dapat sa account, pwede ka mag dagdag, pero wag mo na bawasan. kasi malaki din ang effect ng dollar rate daily/monthly sa average balance if your account is in peso

You can try to submit it as it is, if your application is online, everything will be scanned. If the officer that will review your documents is not satisfied with the one you submitted, they will just send a request for additional reference (ADR) usually they explain whatever they need there.

honestly hindi ko alam yung sagot dito. Pero what I think is pwede. As long as it is a job offer, it should be good. Kasi personally, the NOC on my nomination is not the same with the NOC of the job that have here. In my opinion, just go and use it, if meron man maging question with that, mag message naman sayo ang immigration.

@@phonekyaw1155 I don’t think there will be issues on that. On the online forms, there will be a portion where you have to provide the gap months and the reason. Years and months including gaps should be accounted for and listed on the work experience history when filling out the online form
