Numerics with Nadia
Приєднався 15 лис 2020
Hi everyone! My name is Nadia and I have been a private tutor for over 7 years. In my time tutoring I have learned how to teach all levels of mathematics to my students in a motivating way. My focus has always been on building a strong mathematical foundation for my students, and I thought I would share videos covering topics that most students begin to struggle with. My channel will cover topics starting in Grade 5 up to Grade 12, including Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, and Statistics. I hope this channel brings clarity on a wide variety of mathematical topics to students and their families.

So happy you found the video helpful!
Great video, we liked the detailed explanation of the problems.
Thank you! Happy to help!
Thanks for another great video! What if the exponent was a fraction or a decimal?
Great suggestion! I will do more videos on fractions that will cover those topics!
Super helpful thank you!
You're welcome! Happy to help!
This video is great, Thank you 😊
My pleasure! So glad you found it helpful!
Great video, this really helped me understand the difference between the two concepts
You are welcome! Glad you found the video helpful!

I am so happy to hear that! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Thank you for this!🙏🏼 I needed a break down I could understand. You’re the best!
So glad you enjoyed the video!
When simplifying the algebraic expressions, it makes sense how you grouped the terms based on whether they were negative or positive. Thanks, great explanation, always enjoy the step by step process you write out here
Thank you for the support! I am glad you enjoyed the video!
So helpful!
Glad you found the video helpful!
Another great video with fundamental information
Thank you so much!
Just wondering but could there be negative angles??😅
Hi Katherine! Great question! In short, yes you can have a negative angle. An angle would be considered negative if it is measured in a clockwise direction; however, for the purposes of this video we would only be dealing with positive angles which are measured in a counterclockwise direction.
Awesome explanation of a super useful tool. Keep it up!
Sure thing! So glad you enjoyed the video!
Could you please do a video on Pythagorean Theorem?
Hi there! Sure thing! I will make that the topic of the next video!
Another great video, Thank you
My pleasure! Glad you enjoyed it!
Can we do a video on domain and range for pre calculus
Hi Daniel! Sure thing! I will make that the topic of the next video! Thank you for the recommendation
Thanks for another great video! Just wondering - would a sphere be called a prism since it's a three dimensional shape? I've never said that but maybe that's the correct term?😅
Hi Katherine, great question! A sphere is a three dimensional shape, but it has a single rounded surface with no edges, no faces, and no vertex. It would not be considered a prism because it does not have two identical bases that are connected by lateral faces. A sphere is just a one-off three dimensional shape. Hope this helps!
Another amazing video 👏 👏
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for posting this video, great fundamental information
Happy to hear that you enjoyed it!!
great video! the diagrams and labels really helped me understand how to find area and perimeter
That is great! So glad to hear that the visuals helped with your understanding of this topic!
can you please do a video on how to find the are of a trapezoid?
Great suggestion! I will make that the topic of the next video!
Great video!
Thank you!
Hi! Do perpendicular lines only occur when there are right angles created with the lines? Thanks!
Hi Katherine! Great question, yes perpendicular lines only occur when right angles are created.
Thank you for a great video, I really liked all the colorful diagrams!
I am so happy to hear that you found the diagrams helpful!
Great video thank you!
So glad you enjoyed it!
Another great video! Could you please do a video on different types of angles? Thank you
Great suggestion! I will make that the topic of the next video!
Another great video, thank you for making this conversion so much easier.
My pleasure! So glad you liked the video!
Awesome video as always! Kind of a silly question, but why do we have these different types of units? Why don't we just use the metric system for everything and everywhere instead of the miles and inches and quarts...?😅
Hi Katherine! Great question, while it would be great to have 1 uniform standard of measurement the United States still uses the Imperial System thus solidifying the need to learn these conversions!
Ahh the imperial system. Thanks for making the necessary evil easy to grasp!
Glad you enjoyed the video!
Can you do a video on how to multiply and divide decimals?
Yes, the video is in the decimal playlist feel free to check it out!
