Extremely interesting information. I grew up in Prince George’s County & still reside there. I’m retired after 27 years with the DC Metropolitan Police Department. I’ve seen some of the many changes in which you’ve mentioned. Thanks for such History lesson.
I vaguely recall that one of the skeletons was brought to the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History and was featured in the exhibit Written in Bone.
