Helpful tips. How not to let your trip turn to crap.
Impressive
Most importantly, is there any dust ingress??
Looks like you can’t really get easy from the drivers seat into the back without leaving the car , I could be wrong. For me that would be a very important feature ! Also would like to have those 2 front seats be able to swivel around !
😅😂😢
Chick has a problem with perceived mansplaining
New triton better body frame chassis better engine Euro 6
This is far better than anything Im afraid to say, even better than a Unimog I just can’t explain it❤
Can u put up a link for purchase 😊
still got it ? want to sell ?
Yep, still got it and very happy with it. Nope, not for sale as we're having to much fun in it.
You did not show the bed inside ,after the back has opened up , but before it fills the extended space.
where to buy cover , please
Awesom Vid, Thanks!
Didn’t you miss the major items? College crossings, queens park zoo, Nicholas precinct, Japanese garden and kholo botanic gardens
Hi @siamakgharahjeh3541 Thanks for your feedback! Yes these are indeed great things to do in the Ipswich region (the Japanaese gardens and Kholo are particularly beautiful). However, we were 'saving' these for a future video on free and low-cost things to do in the region.
There is a you tuber in WA who has done the 4X4 conversion on his Hiace and is working out to do his conversion to a camper van you have a lot of great ideas to do with your camper van set up and have hot and cold water and all obviously you bought the best van the Toyota Hiace and as you could say you have all the bells and whistles also the Toyota Hiace is the biggest selling van in Australia and you can understand why and most Australians do buy Toyota's
You cross your chains to be long enough to take a sharp turn like a switchback or something.
How do you get the tensioning straps from one side of the van underneath to the other side? Mike
forget all about what's legal...... just because its legal...doesnt make it safe any one that tows 3.5 t with ANY of these types of utes is asking for trouble.. 3.5t is right on the limit for a patrol or cruiser... anymore than that.. chev / ram / F250

How much is the price of the van with the 4 wheel drive conversion?
well the van new is about 88k. i'm looking at them now. there is a cheaper version with no windows. cargo style
Yeah man the back Colgate could do with some soft close struts. Fair bit of dust in there could definitely do with a brush.
5 yrs on. Still running the parabolics? If so are they still holding up??
Woah ❤❤❤
We do not recommend M/T's for offroad RV's regardless of what terrain you anticipate travelling over. There are 3 main reasons for this: First reason is temperature - M/T's tend to generate much higher temperatures in the tread blocks which may lead to overheating and separation / failure particularly in hotter climates on longer runs. Secondly - 'rock fly'. M/T's obviously tend to pick up & throw a lot more debris from the road causing more likelihood of damage to the underside of your RV ie grey water plumbing, gas fittings etc or even the tailgate & canopy window on your tow vehicle. Another unlikely victim may include solar panels, roof vents etc. (Don't believe it? Mount a go pro on the roof and travel down a gravel or rocky road at 60km/hr or higher with M/T's). Thirdly - Punctures. M/T's tend to have more aggressive 'side biters' which aid traction in muddy or loose conditions. The problem with that is these same side biters have a nasty habit of directing sticks and debris that may have otherwise glided on past harmlessly INTO the sidewall and penetrate the tyre despite the sidewall construction usually being quite a bit tougher than H/T or A/T's. Great vid - very well explained and contains great info!!
Old Triton is good manuvering faster and pretty front dynamic shield
The beeping is hella annoying if the receiver can't pick up signal from the senders. A couple of times I would turn it off even when in severe offroad situations. But great at other times.
If you purchase that as a tow vehicle then you need to slap yourself in the face.
Interesting how there is no curtins or use of the large window for storage
I have curtains in it now. I don't want to use the windows for storage as that'll block the view and ventilation.
My question is what happens when it rains
No water gets into the van. The pop top canvas windows can be left open slightly at the top to allow ventilation and not let water in.
What brand cover is this please?
Have you experienced any of the Enduroco death wobbles yet?
No, it drives quite smoothly.
How much? 130k + I would guess
Front Bumper looks good with this van 👌
Just curious re the pop top. Has it stood the passage of time and corrugations? Seems no one yet is proceeding with hard tops and as I look about a lot of pop tops seem hard pressed to go country long term. No cracks? water leakage? You mentioned in the other vid that you may try larger dia tires. Any further thoughts on that.
The pop top has been perfect to date.

Interested if price is right.

Call me a sceptic but I am seeing a lot of Nissan in this vehicle - has anyone checked / compared the underlying body and mechanical layout (apart from exterior styling etc)? Look at the shape of the doors, windscreen, wheelbase etc. Dunno about the engine but...
P.S. When I say Nissan - I mean Renault-Nissan because all three of them are in bed together.
I love the tip to put the bucket in the shower while you're driving to agitate the clothes
Wow! Mark, this is perfect for us; just what we have been looking for mate! Any chance of pinging me all the relevant specs/worksheet etc. so we can get one done just like this?
Hi, great set up but as a firefighter I would highly recommend moving that smoke alarm as high possible as heat and smoke rise to the highest point, it’s gives you the best chance to get out. Secondly get ride of that terrible fire extinguisher that’s above your fridge and get a traditional extinguisher (min 2kg ABE type) with a gauge, those aerosol types are 👎🏻 great and
Thanks firefighter.
Music throughout the video is annoying but the van looks good
I can't get my monitor to change to trailer mode? It beeps at 3, 5 and 10 seconds and then doesn't register 15 and 30 seconds and doesn't change to tyre mode like it says it should. Any suggestions????
Great video hopefully this is one more helpful tip for you your shackle pins should be moused so they don't vibrate out while traveling I was a crane operator during my working career so I have seen many times vibration cause the shackle pins to unscrew themselves, safe travels
Excellent rig. Toyota should bring back from factory the HiAce 4WD version which was available in the '90s. It will be a modern day and bigger Delica.
they still made those right up to 2019. in the old van shape. i've seen minespec versions of this one but i'm not sure if it's factory
The old and the new Mitsubishi Triton i always like it both very very pretty futuristic advance Technology intelligent engineers
Best thing about this triton is you don't have to look at it while driving it! ugly p.o.s. what the he'll were they thinking when they designed the front grill. looks like it was taken off a old nasty cattle truck! or designed by a jap i.t. Nerd playing on his pc. Also Hyundai headlights. wtf!
Cool set up and well thought out mate 👍🏻
Don't forget hand brake
Love your dog 🥰
