Great video! have you upgraded the suspension?
Yes, Wilbers rear suspension (basic model), front fork spring and oil (€700 all included). Making the CRF a complete different bike !
😂 Merciiii 🙏
That's Amazing- Thanks for the Video ! Are the Tires that much better than the stock ones ? I Got a Heart attack just from Watching, with the stock tires I would hit the ground in the first 20 secounds ... Or you are just a way better rider :D Best Regards
Thanks for the comment. I am just a normal rider, but it's clear MT21 and D606 are far better than the stock ones, and for sure in the mud this makes a huge difference. Tires is really the first upgrade to consider on this bike !
Trop bien 🔥✌️✌️✌️
I love this video!!
Bonjour! is this a part of the TET route?
No
Are you still happy with the Tubliss system after 6 months of use? I've been considering the system myself but have seen mixed reviews.
2,500 km off-road now, with the occasional 1-hour highway stretch to connect to different trails. The setup is killer-super happy with it. Running now 1 bar front and rear for mixed on/off-road, and hardly any pressure loss in the high chamber at 100 psi (just a quick check every 2-3 weeks or before hitting the trails). Key things: follow the install specs and balance the wheel afterward to account for the rim lock on the Tubliss. Compared to tubes (and even with UHD I got flats), I only carry a tubeless repair kit and a mini pump, so I’m set for a 5-minute flat fix if needed (which, by the way, has never happened!) And if I want to be even more proactive, I can always add sealant for an extra layer of prevention. And unlike BIB foam (great if you are only riding local and pure enduro), I can do long highway runs... way more versatile for my dual-sport riding with this CRF Rally. I hope this covers your question and meets your expectations for information.
I'm riding a crf300. When do you know it's time to go for a ktm exc ?
I’m mostly into dual-sport riding and discovering new off-road trails in a range of 200-400km. And for this, the CRF300 Rally is spot-on. The KTM 500, though-that's a whole different beast and enduro monster. And IMO, I don’t think many people can truly ride it to its full potential. For this reason, if I were to go enduro, I’d lean more towards a 250 or 350… but that's not the direction I'm heading in for now. When ? If you’re planning to get into enduro, I think an EXC (or another pure enduro bike) will be easier right off the start compared to a CRF300, since it's much better suited for that kind of riding...
Nice video and riding, beautiful views!
Cool! C’est quelle trace ?
Fantastique!
Merci

Nicely sorted CRF!
Thanks! Good tires, Tubliss system for low pressure, Wilbers suspension and fork. Over 2500 km off-road now, and honestly, it's an awesome setup.
Merci voor t delen. Ziet er tof uit!
Happy to share and thanks for your comment 😉

Hi! Nice ride! Can I ask for the gpx?. I’m an off-road newbie from Zaventem and don't know where to go offroading. thanks for your exploration!
Even better than a single GPX file, it's a good idea to go on Wikiloc and Calimoto to find all the off-road GPX routes in your neighborhood... You gonna get a collection of it 😉
Nice ride. Is this a part of the TET Belgium ? Don't you have a lot of roads that you can't use because of the sign F99C (blue with white: horse, bike, pedestrian, tractor, ... ). In my neighbourhood, there are a lot of those. :-(
Part of the old TET route, and indeed blue signs have popped up along the entire route...
Awesome ride and perfect riding ground! 😀
Thank you. The country side was indeed really beautful, but sometimes very challenging to ride 😁
Nice ride. Looking forward for better weather here in Belgium.
Indeed, it's raining since 7 months... I like mud and water, but would nice once to have a sunny ride with drier conditions 😜
... Riding with old friends is great! CRF 300 Rally owner here. Jeff
Absolutely ! The Rally is a fantastic bike for this. It's perfect for cruising on-road to meet up with friends and shred the trails together, no matter the region, or to explore on longer distances. I absolutely love its versatility 🥰
Doesn’t the D606 raise the rear about an inch while the MT21 is pretty much stock height? Does that affect much?
Some complaints indeed D606, you are lossing about 3-5% torque power and rasie a bit the machine... honestly I can't compared, but stock tires review were so bad, I've asked my dealer to change the tires before taking the bike. I can't be happier about my choice...
How do you like the 300 Rally?
For me, it’s a fantastic Dual Sport which needs some small upgrades. To keep it simple: changing the tires to D606 and MT21, and an upgrade to the rear suspension, fork springs, and oil (I chose Wilbers €800 for the upgrade, check video). It allows me to explore (video Tubliss video: 200km off-road and 100km highway), but also to ride with enduro bikes (video ride with KTM500 and Husky). Tomorrow, I have a ride planned with a friend on a KTM400 EXC, 80km from my place. With an enduro, I would have needed a trailer... Very well balanced and feels natural (the magic of Honda engineers), forgiving, engine (stock) is really available and powerful enough, smooth, no maintenance, Honda reliability...
Too much cleaning involved for my taste ^.^
😂
super video ;)
Thank you very much for your encouraging feedback
Bravo , excellent souvenir
I live southern Spain and we almost never get those great muddy conditions. I run the MT21 tires front and rear . Installed rim locks and run 12 psi front and rear. The Pirellis work well in all conditions here.
Indeed, great tire in all conditions. I've installed Tubliss system with the rim lock integrated. That's really an asset to be able to run low pressure... surely in the mud 😁
I have done the same upgrade & completey agree. For me there is no need for "better, read more expensive" spring upgrade's. Wilbers is top quality & has a reasonable price. Tested it also off-road with full lugage & with this upgrade the Rally takes it all.
Indeed, this was confirmed again this weekend. The CRF equipped with Wilbers was able to keep up with experienced riders on KTM500 and Husqvarna350 bikes. While it may not be on the same level of these bikes for enduro, you can definitely enjoy sessions like this (video coming soon).
Great video
Thank you so very much for your encouraging feedback 🤗
Fully agree. I plan à footage very soon on this then 😉. Also the tank bag and tail bag I am running are great solutions too.
Good video, I noticed the bags on the Outback Motortek crashbars. I am thinking of doing something similar on mine for tire tubes and possibly tools or first aid kit (my every ride carry stuff). I am curious what you have in them, your thoughts on them and how they mount up to the bars? Do they cause any damage or scuffing to the bodywork underneath?
Thanks for the comment. These are drybags80 from SW Motech. Perfect fit and easy to attach to the crashbars. In case of fail (as you can see in my video) they are not going through the bars so absolutely no scratch on the plastics. Same fail without the bags, the wooden branches would have scratches the plastic.... After the crash, just had to zip tied the left bag, because the attach was broken. In these bags, I put electric pump, facom nano, zip ties, tubless repair kit, pain killers,,.... all wrapped in bubble protection, so no damage in case of crash. I'll do a complete review soon about all the bags, attachment and content....
@@mahieujf A review would be awesome, I look forward to it. I currently carry these items in a tail case, which works but I would like to move some of that weight lower and forward and the crash guards look like a good spot for it. Thanks for the reply.
I had Lomo drybags on the Outback Motortek crashbars of my CRF300 Rally. I dropped the bike 2 times, softly, low speed and the contents of the bags (my tools) changed the impact point of the bars and bended them. I managed to bend them back, but now I'm carrying my two small tool bags at the rear.
Seeing the thickness of the outback crashbars, you've achieved to bend them during a crash at low speed and to bend them back after ?? More generally speaking, advantage of the drybag80, they are "bigger" then the whole in the mliddle of the outbak crashbar, so they are not going "through" during a crash, and still Important to bubble wrap then before putting in your bag
Nice video
Just bought a Rally and I love it! Great footage, but...- It would be better though to keep your bars/guages in view the whole time. The 2nd half was harder to watch, even though you were in the dirt in some beautiful areas... Still, cool video though. Hope you enjoy that bike as much as I'm enjoying mine!
Maybe you'll prefer this one then ua-cam.com/video/eXGcq8Qsin4/v-deo.html 😉 Thank you very much for your insightful comment. Keeping the gauge in sight is difficult as I am standing up most of the time. I am sure you'll love it even more and more, it's a really a great bike. Don't hesitate to subscribe to my channel since I'll post soon the review of my Tubliss conversion, new shock springs and rear suspension, and 200km offroad in a day... (just need to do the video editing)
Good music and nice bike) Thank you for sharing your trip
Thank you so very much for your encouraging comment 🤗
OUTRAGEOUS !!! How many times did it dump you, filming that? 😅
no fails, but cameras faced many challenges! 😁
Salutations du Québec! The little red Pig dans son environnement natuel :-) Good job! Can't wait to get dirty as well. I already got the 606/MT21 on the DRZ. But I'll try the Motoz Tractionator Enduro S/T on the CRF300L.
Greetings from Belgium. Wish you a lot of mud as well 😁 I've heard good things about the Motoz (lasting longer than the D606), I am sure this will be a great choice 😉
Indeed, front wheel skid out. I was coming too fast (40km/h) to this pavement section; even light on the front brake, when it's freezing (-2°c) this leaves you very little chance...
What happened? Did you skid out?
Maybe slow down on the corners? So walkers don't die
I had a panic attack just watching that!😂😂😂
Thanks, great compliment 😁
Fellow rally owner here from Australia …what is 2 pound in PSI for tyre pressure? You can ride. I was riding a clay mud track through a forest and the stock tyres caked up very quickly …needless to say I went very slow and steady .
Great to hear from you, dear Australian fellow. When you mention 2 pounds, what exactly are you referring to? As for the stock tires, they're quite poor in quality; I never even rode with them. I immediately switched to D606 Rear and MT21 front tires, using Heavy Duty Tubes (Michelin) for both. IMO, It's truly the ideal combination for both road and mud. For muddy terrain (and road junctions), I keep the pressure at 17.4 psi (front) and 21.8 psi (rear). The tyres never cake up and the grip is excellent (even on muddy pavement). While I could deflate the tires further for a better grip on the trails, since I ride solo, I prefer to minimize the risk of punctures... And when I'm solely riding on the road, I adjust to 21.8 psi (front) and 26.1 psi (rear).
Waoooow 😮
