Negative. I can only throw Storm, Roto Grip, and 900 Global. I don’t have any extra Hy-Road Pearls I want to drill as of right now. They’ve been around forever, it’s cleaner and more responsive than the hybrid.

Magic Gem is way stronger. Much earlier and smoother. Harsh Reality Pearl is a step down, for sure.

I had the Altered Reality liked it gave it to my buddy he wanted it bad.😊😅. DNA Coil is cleaner.

This Altered Reality doesn’t have a ton of games on it, but more use than the Harsh Reality Pearl for sure… I think it’s cleaner and slightly more down lane than the Altered. A great option for slower speed players as well!

UFO Alert is a very unique ball. Very hard to replace, the Clone was rather close for me. But, lots of people didn’t match up to it or didn’t really give it a chance. Clone would be very close in my honest opinion, if you can still find one. The Harsh Reality Pearl is stronger front to back and smoother than the Alert. I have the Harsh Reality Pearl much closer to an Altered Reality. Something in the current line that’s close to the UFO Alert, would be a DNA Coil. Very similar strength wise, shapes aren’t too far off either. I think the Coil likes to rev up a little faster than the Alert, but that’s the only thing I can think of within the current SPi catalog.

If you want something cleaner through the front part of the lane and more responsive down lane, it’s a good 1-2 combo in my opinion!

No way. Magic is top top of the bag, this seems like a pearl step down, maybe like a slightly weaker exotic? Idk exotic is also crazy strong

@@glenkamida71 for me, the Magic Gem is a game 1 ball. Much earlier and smoother than the Harsh Pearl. The Harsh would be a good ball down from the Magic Gem.

It depends. What I’m bowling on and what part of the lane I’m playing. On average it’s 17.5 on the scoring monitor.

I have.. still not exactly sure where it fits in competition. It’s in a weird slot for me, but I think it has some potential.

I’ll definitely have more instructional/educational videos coming out. So, stay tuned! I appreciate the feedback! Lots of times, changing balls is an educated guess. The more you bowl, the easier it is to see the differences between frames, with a ball that may or may not be the correct one, at that specific time.

I’m a big fan of the Hustle X-Ray. I need to drill a RIP, so I have an earlier and smooth option in the X-Ray, and a cleaner and more responsive ball in the RIP. Hustles are so good!

Depends on who you ask, but usually the first ball out of the bag. You can throw it and read the lane depending on the reaction/hook/path/etc. From there you should know which ball(s) you’re going to use for the next 1-3 games

For me, it’s a ball I know exactly what it’s going to do, no matter what. It helps me see the lane, where the oil is, where the hook is. I also look for versatility in a benchmark ball. My typical benchmark balls are a Phaze 2, XPonent, IQ Tour, and now the Ion Pro!

It honestly depends on the ball, where I’m trying to slot that ball into my arsenal. I try to keep it simple and only use 3-4 layouts. I’m a big fan of pin distances between 4 3/4 and 5 1/4 from my PAP. Most of the layouts I use in my ball videos, are what I generally use on everything I throw.
