- Aristo timone a vento, modello semplificato del pilota a vento ARISTO: rispetto al modello precedente la banderuola è leggermente più piccola, grazie ai flaps piegati sopravento, ed il sistema di aggancio con barre filettanti incorporate ha eliminato le due forcelle di alluminio del primo modello, inutilmente ingombranti.
Vento circa 6 nodi.

Dalla scia sull'acqua si nota la leggera orzata della barca per un leggero aumento della brezza, e la correzione alla poggia che il timone a vento esegue

I suspect you would have to have a very easily balanced boat for this to work. Very simple if you do, though.

Ive been looking for a self steering system that works well with a centermounted outboard...I have a 24 ft lapworth gladiator that i have windvane-servo system that i have been wondering how to install or ic I can install.....
Is there a special sail for reverse? Lol...jk This is a catchy looking self steering system...
Hi. I would like to get a copy of your project drawings so I can make a version of your wind vane. I have some ideas about increasing efficiency of wind vanes like this, especially in low wind speeds. I think I may be able to make response more effective, and response time quicker. No. I bought a 28 foot Cheoy Lee with a light tiller force and good balanced helm. Delivering it to my home port I used sheet-to-tiller self steering which worked ok so I stayed with that. I no longer have a boat.

I am interested in this system, but no explanation and horrible music. English version of the website is 'under construction'.
Why no main sail? You are not showing us anything. How does it work?
No secret here: with wind from stern and with the main sail my boat run to the wind and Aristo does not work any better..
