You should always carry pepper spray and wear little bells on you, when in bear country, it is important to know the difference between black bear and grizzly bear 💩, black bear droppings have bits of fur and twigs in them, grizzly bear droppings smell of pepper spray and have little bells in it, I hope this helps!

This is an amazing video, really very underwatched for what it is! I'm in Washington State and we're not allowed to use dogs here either. I've been extremely lucky and spot and stalked one with my bow and tracked another one in the snow until catching up to him. I hope you ate the meat, it's some of the best wild game meat around!
