Never fails that projects start as just a small fix and then turn into full restorations.

Love it! This is one I’ve been wanting to find. Love the Corvette style dash. I have a 65 shortbed stepside and an 85 crew cab that I’m putting a longbed stepside on, something I wish GM had built.
Heck yeah, what engines do you have in those 2 trucks? That crew cab sound will look sharp with a long bed stepside. One of these days I want to build a 4wd squarebody crew cab for my tow rig.
@@alistairsgarage7857 The 85 has a 350 with an sm465 but I just acquired a 454 that I’m gonna go through and put in it. Then probably stroke the 350 and put that in the 65 with a t400 I have or find a 4 speed for it.

Funny that I found your channel after seeing it a while back on an LMC magazine. What size tire are you running? Putting together a '65 longbed fleetside and liked the look of yours when I saw it on the mag cover.

With those old clusters, you always have to be super careful. I'm finding how fragile things are with my Kaiser.

I have a 90 on ny channle. If youd be interested.. Those wire nuts on the stereo. Remove those and use butt connectors
Just checked out your wagoneer. Its a good looking. Yeah I'm definitely going to get rid of the wire nuts and redo the whole stereo. I dont even have the old one hooked up right now. I cant stand when people use wire nuts on cars
Have one 82 with 2.8 engine, need a new home.

Personally I would get that engine running and wear it out while you save up some parts to get an updated gen 3 hemi.
Thanks man! Yeah that's what I'm thinking. Going to rock the 360 for a bit...although with the transmission and transfercase out its..only 4 bolts away from the engine coming out

Thats a pretty solid rig. A few imperfections here and there but nothing a little work cant fid. Awesome find.
