February 1935 Lake begins to fill to 708.70 feet July 1941 Lake Mead reaches 1220.40 feet March 1956 Lake Mead drops to 1083.57 feet July 1983 Lake Mead reaches 1225.44 feet (highest point) June 2015 Lake Mead reaches 1074.71 feet August 2022 Lake Mead reaches 1044 feet July 2024 Lake Mead projected to reach 1013 feet Still the lowest it has been since likely the start of WW2....but its not a natural thing anyhow. Its like expecting your car to run forever. Not sure if people are aware, but if you look it up, there is still concrete at Hoover Dam that is curing from its original construction....it was estimated to take 100 years to fully cure. And we are worried about strange water levels with some of these places?
