Brooklyn Economic Justice Project (BEJP)
The Brooklyn Economic Justice Project (BEJP), co-designed by The New York Women’s Foundation and Fondation CHANEL and with support FLOX Studio, works to strengthen the economic security of low-income women and families in underinvested communities in Brooklyn, NY, develop and pilot local solutions, and identify scalable solutions for replication elsewhere in NYC and beyond. BEJP works with a group of community-based organizations through a cohort-based model that combines grant support, peer learning, technical assistance, and partnership creation for participating grantee partners.

What a backwards world. Some of the best singers are in the nyc subways. Some of the worst are in the lime light. I first saw these two singing in the 42 street station.

............I miss David, ♡♡ [τ̲̅н̲̅a̲̅и̲̅κ̲̅ ч̲̅o̲̅u̲̅] ᴗ͈ₒᴗ͈♡ David --- in My neighborhood SpringCreek ENY its original name and zipcode 11212,-- the private homes used to grow grapes, pumpkin, figs, pears, apples, other fruits, Trees Ginkgo, white & black berry trees, crabapple-- and many other edible plants everywhere here. It wasnt until the process of gentrification(removal of one ethnic for another) -- its then that everything bad began -- fresh fruits and veggies disappeared, fruit trees, Willows etc, being taken down --- Question is why - when so many of the new immigrants moving into the houses of SpringCreek ENY they all 'Cook fresh meals' -- so why did the Veggie Markets leave and relocate to certain other communities? = its at that point my community became a "desert" other than that we had Fresh Fruit markets and plenty of wildlife to help grow these plants - a large grocery store was all that we didnt have -particularly one that wouldnt hike the prices - so we had no choice but to shop outside of our community - suddenely Fresh Bakery stores/factories were gone along with Fresh Veggies, Poultry & Fish shops when the large Supermarket Chain moved in. Oh yer! and the factory jobs that were here left too ppl left with the work, we also had a few farms then also, Sunnydale had live cows on a farm where the Pen Houses are today. I have my suspicions as to why this community was changed for the worse (since I witnessed things as I grew up here). With that share, lets keep Community Gardens ENY/SpringCreek---, even if it has to go on the roofs of all these new eye sores. ENY was a hidden Jewel, know becoming a horrorible place to live-- most who are moving in - think only of their own personal needs inlieu of community a neighborhoods needs. 10/1/2020 summer of covid19

If you don' like the Democrats message and who brings it then try the republicans. Your criticism of the convention speakers is stupid as you are! Go on back to Ecuador and take all the criminals with you. Talk about taken for granted! Look at all the free rides your people get everyday. Health care Food shelter . As an old retired white man that got beat down all my life I say you need to check yourself ! I never mind pitching in until I hear some bs from someone who has her whole family here on the hard working people of this country. Go stick yourself , Ill talk to CNN now.
