Sarah, I read this book recently, and I couldn't stop thinking about all the young women who fought so bravely for workers rights against the big corporations, and how badly they were treated. As a reader, you get to know the story of each of the girls featured,I also enjoyed seeing their pictures throughout the book. Your review was so perfectly worded and concise,which is hard to do because so much can be said about all the lives this story affected.I found it disturbing that people still live in the area that the toxic Radium factories existed..specifically in Orange N.J. While reading this book I placed myself in their places.This was heartbreaking. Thank you for another great review!
