On this channel, you will mostly find level crossings all over the United Kingdom, Railway Stations & other railway related content. There are nearly 1,500 Public Highway Level Crossings with with warning lights in the UK. and I have filmed nearly all of them. I am missing crossings that are very infrequently used or abandoned. I have about 20 of them crossings left to film. I rarely film manual gated crossings. And I also film Level Crossings with Miniature Stop Lights.
Videos of crossings I’ve never filmed or have had any sort of upgrade, will be uploaded on my daily schedule apart from Wednesday & Saturday.

Great video! Interesting how it was down for so long without a train, especially since that crossing had to be manually activated. Kinda sounds like something may have pulled-up nearby, so the signaller activated the crossing because they weren't sure if the train would need to enter the crossing or not?
@@freebrickproductions Thank you, the train was definitely using the crossing. Cos it was going to Felixstowe, which are always sent through here. It was sat at the signal, so must of been a signal failure or something I’m not sure.
I’ve had it where a crossing was down for 8 mins with no train then it raised
@@vastjonea Oh wow. I think crossings here are always set to time-out after a few minutes if it doesn't detect the train still approaching. Otherwise it'll still be down due to a malfunction.
@@freebrickproductionsMCB’s & CCTV Crossings don’t time out I don’t think. Cos when they fail they stay stuck down till an engineer turns up to fix it. Just automatic crossings known to timeout I think.
@ Automatic half barrier crossings have a timeout, however full barrier crossings can be down for as long as the signaller wants it to be down for
Interesting! The other day I caught a cancelled closure at Llanelli!

I'm interested that the signal light was at amber long after the train had passed it. Surely it should have gone red?
That signal won’t go red. It’s a distant signal. These ones are green and yellow only. These are designed to tell the driver that the signal ahead is at danger and to go at caution. it goes green when the signal ahead is Amber or Green, and yellow if it is Red.
