PPG Pilot: Kevin's paramotor journey began on June 23, 2023, and he took to the skies for his inaugural flight on October 11, 2023. Driven by a lifelong passion for flight, Kevin found his calling in paramotoring just four months before beginning formal training. Since then, he's been soaring through the skies, finding joy and purpose in the freedom that paramotors provide.

Cuantos comentarios inexpertos, cuando el motor es mas chico, es menor el riesgo! Dejen de hablar huevadas
@@efrefr9292 Seguramente no estás siendo gracioso? 😂
Looking good there Kevin.
Thank you. I feel I’m getting better every time.
@@KevinhPPG its all practice brother
Nice !

That takes the fun out of it.
Hat model of JD you running?’

@@KevinhPPG I run a 2025 120r
Good Little tractor.
Good little tractor.
Nice and flat for a good takeoff….
congrats dude

Youre a princess aren’t you?
Outstanding Kevin. Respect!
Well done, mate! Welcome to the sport! You seem to look a little heavy for the atom 80, but I might be wrong. A bigger engine would shorten your run significantly, though! Around 1:41 it sounded like either something hit the prop (maybe your glider bag? Happened to me before) or your engine had a hiccup, which you should investigate (I've had a similar sound when a piston ring broke on my 2T bike). Other than that, very good for a third flight! The sky is not the limit anymore! Have fun! 🪂🪂🪂
Thanks, I’m about 220lbs. Planning on getting a bigger engine soon. Using the 80 helps me learn the basic skills. Hope to get another flight here soon.
💥
этот мотор слабый для такой массы пилота ! ...и рекомендую поменьше пиздаболить когда снимаешь видео 😉
Awesome!
It was a blast and really cool to see.
I applaud you for your methodical and deliberate approach to learning to launch! The finesse and patience that you're learning now will pay huge dividends for the rest of your time in the sport.
Impressive.
Nice one Kevin, after a few failed landings (I talk from experience) it finally clicks
Yes, hopefully my next flight it comes together as far as my landing goes.
I know the Atom 80 is a good motor but its for someone that weighs less than 170lbs. He needs to be on a moster 185 for sure if he wants to get off the ground faster
I came to make that same comment.
Long run. BUT: Takeoff 🛫 is takeoff 🛫👌🏻
Luckily I’m in pretty good shape 😉
WoW 👌 👏 😍 👍
Dude had a hard time trying to get up there it seems. He looks like one of those knows it all kind of hardheaded customers. 😂😅
So dang hardheaded. 😂
if it's he's 3 flight why is he not on coms ? 200+ pounds 80 cc ? no disrespect just asking
No disrespect taken. For one It was my choice to not be on comms. My training hasn't been a whole steady 7-10 days like most. It's been on going for several months (weather and timenoermiting)so I have a pretty good working knowledge on how it works. Basically using the 80cc engine helps with the learning process. Not as heavy no torque. Start smaller get a basic understanding and work your way up.
Not sure why an instructor would put a 220lb person on an atom 80..
Motor muito fraco
This instructor gets people hurt too often
Subscribed to you Kevin - I'm a UK veteran and great to see you get in the air, it's a life changer ! - I'm only on my third flight too, my launches are not pretty at the moment, but slowly getting there ! 🤜
@@KevinhPPG me to brother!! We’ll soon get there!!!!
Décollage laborieux !😅 Mais bravo 👏 quand même.
Phew! Had me worried there for a bit. Two things I would note (and you probably already know) was a little early on the throttle, and you need to lean back as soon as you’re on power. And try not to land on your windsock. ;) I know. I know. That’s 3 things. :)
Thank you for the tips. I’ll take all I can get.
Awesome ! It only gets better from here on out ! I hope we fly together one day .
Good stuff ✅I’m new enough to paramotoring myself im from Ireland 🇮🇪 a year ago I did my course in spain with fly-spain coolest thing I’ve ever done I’m enjoying my progress just picked up a new wing last month Dudek universal 1.1 can’t wait to try it when weather improves….jist started a UA-cam channel a few weeks ago uploaded some stuff….subscribed to you aswell 🪂
I will subscribe to yours as well. Thank you for watching. I haven’t bought my own equipment yet but hope to in several months.
@@KevinhPPG Moster 185 for you my man!!! I have one it’s got great power for getting you airborne quickly!!!!
@@MidFlightCrisis yes, working toward the 185.
👍💜💜💜💜💜💜💛
haha, doesnt it always go that way. Wide open field, fixate and hit the one thing out there. Maybe line up for final approach, with a little more room and height. Thanks for the vid, you're really making that Atom work for it. Also, amazing. 2,100 views in 8 days with 23 subscribers.
I feel honored that you watched and subscribed.
Taking offs at null wind are challenging. Lean bacward while running, it helps a lot.
good job.. wish u didnt cut out the take off lol
hmm. with all your knowledge why put this chap with a 80cc engine? he should of used a moster 185.... do your sums . live and learn. or learn and live. geez then u got that windsock? swinging.has the student got any coms.....??? cowboys
So what is the point here…….nothing happening😆
The point is for @Juanmorsay7894 to comment and ask what the point was. 😂
How much did you give for that rig? And where did u get it? I live in arkansas as well right in the heart of it.
Nailed it... the flagpole great job
Power forwards will bite you. Get a bigger motor and life will be much easier.
He looks much heavier than he appears!
Oh yeah, progressing toward that.
Awesome!
I wanna do this. Bucket List.
It’s a blast.
