Fostering Global Engagement to Advance the Public Good
At Indiana University’s Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies, our mission is to foster enlightened global engagement to advance the public good. Our vision is to be the leading hub for global and international studies in the Midwest and one of the top schools nationally by building on three distinctive strengths:
1. our fusion of international affairs with language and area studies;
2. our cultivation of professional skills alongside broad academic knowledge; and
3. our commitment to civil discourse and public service.
We aim to be a school where scholars, students, and practitioners from around the world come eager to engage, learn, and serve, empowered by the knowledge that they are welcome, valued, and respected. To achieve that vision, we have developed a strategy that aligns with IU 2030. Learn more at: hls.iu.edu/about/strategy/index.html

    Yes, president Biden's spoken goal-- America will be back! (On the white horse, as commentator said.) And William J. Burns comment-- our European partners can step up to help. Yes. And my bloodline Italy, with U.S., can conquer top organized crime, retake my stolen corporations listed on lexisnexis legal computer.

    During the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, then Indiana representative and Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee Lee Hamilton who had the unfettered attention and respect of President Clinton, invited, welcomed and eagerly accepted untold thousands in campaign "contributions" from Serbian nationalist interest groups and individuals. According to senior staffers consulted at that time, both in his Washington and Indiana constituent outreach offices, Lee followed the money which not merely colored, but led him to see Serbia-Montenegro's (Yugoslavia) genocide, as defined by Article 2 of the 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, as an appropriate instrument through which to ultimately reunite the country, whose constituent republics had each voted via internationally validated referenda for independence and a future based upon self-determination. For years, Hamilton argued that U.S. interests in the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of unarmed civilians in Bosnia and Herzegovina was something other than a national security interest of the U.S., with a combination of lifting the U.S. arms embargo against Bosnia and U.S. military intervention being out of the question. History now accurately records Hamilton's extraordinary efforts while in office to both actively (election campaign funded, domestic U.S. policy driven) and passively (absence of support for military assistance, covert or otherwise, let alone military intervention to STOP and PREVENT more genocide mandated via Article 1 of the Genocide Convention) support for Serbian national extremists against Bosnian civilians because the perpetrators were "Christians" and their victims "Muslim." The complete extent to which Hamilton's activities while in and from his congressional office should be the focus of an official international inquiry. It was Hamilton who authored, in fact led, the Clinton Administration's then classified editorial policy prohibiting use of the term "Genocide" so as to deflect attention away from the Genocide Convention generally, legally mandated action of all High Contracting Parties (HCPs) to both PREVENT and PUNISH Genocide. It was Hamilton who first argued that which Serbs were doing militarily within the territory of the former Yugoslavia was not in the national security interests of the United States. It was, in fact, Hamilton who single handedly conceived, authored and actively promoted a policy constituting de facto denunciation of the Genocide Convention by the U.S., ultimately parroted and followed by every other HCP to the Convention. Prior to crossing life's ultimate finish line and occupying space in a U.S. based cemetery, Hamilton should be tried for his well documented, policy based, complicity in Serbian Genocide as defined by Article 2 of the Genocide Convention against the civilian population of Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the time of this writing, Hamilton is 92. His public record of the period like this author are going to survive him. Survivors of Serbian extremism and Genocide throughout the former Yugoslavia have a right to know who it was that occupied positions of power abroad during the slaughter whose combined actions and inactivity, not merely invited (green lighted) and facilitated, but directly contributed to the carnage. To Mr. Hamilton, I ask, how have you thus far responded to questions from your children and grandchildren when they ask you what it is you, their father and grandfather actually knew from your unique position of political power during the Clinton Administration, had the power to do, actually did and did not do in response to the Genocide and unspeakable suffering of unarmed innocent civilians throughout the former Yugoslavia generally, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Kosovo in particular? Tell them the truth! You have earned international condemnation and a prominent spot, belong in and should have long since retired and relocated to Serbia. Given your record on the Hill during the Bosnia war, had you been a Serb national, you would be statutorily ineligible to enter the U.S. as one who facilitated and indirectly advocated for the persecution, torture and murder of others based upon both their ethnicity and religion.

    who cares, BLM is a racist scam terror group, who has been caught embezzling 60 million dollars? of its charity funds, founder was heard saying that they don't care about black-on-black violence because their only about making money from whites, and they were caught telling members to loot and start violent protests to get the police to respond so BLM could use this for legal suits, and the former 2nd in command was the person who leaked this info after she defected and she went on public record saying that BLM has ties to the radical terror group black panthers. So anyone to continue to support this anti-American group are just as guilty and are nothing more than racist fascists.

    I found this in the most roundabout fashion--I'm citing Dr. Epps-Robertson's piece on the Prince Edward County Free School Association, searched for her biography online, and found about this. I followed a trail of links to a free 90 minute lecture! I'm currently getting a degree in English Education... and I'm also a huge BTS fan, haha. I've written about them about as much as my classes would allow, it's amazing to see so much professional literature on them.

    Wake up Americans, people don’t want you to bring your self serving version of democracy to them. Haven’t the last 20 years of war in the middle east taught you anything? They region has turned into an anarchist war zone, the only people that have benefited are not the people of those countries but defence contractors. The way America uses democracy is the same as the way Europeans used Christianity when they were colonizing the word. Wake up.
