Bout Tree Fitty
Приєднався 11 жов 2011
This channel will include all kinds of tree cutting videos. We will throw, pull cut, push cut, crane down , bucket down trees, and more. We operate on the premise that safety is the number 1 priority, but as we all know this is the most dangerous game in the world. I am blessed to work with highly skilled and talented individuals who help make this channel a reality.

It is as hot as the devil's.... pitchfork down here in South Louisiana. Are we at least halfway over with summer yet?

This is my favorite type of tree work to do. I hope you enjoy the style of editing more than my previous videos, and it will only get better with time. Please like and subscribe!
Dropping a super rotten sweet gum tree filled with termites

Approx 28" diameter at breast height. The whole inside of the tree was mush, so there was very little holding wood. This is where an experienced bobcat operator pulling the tree is 100% necessary. If he was to pull too soon or too hard, that hinge could have given out in an unpredictable manner. Standing it up with wedges and gently pulling it over placed it right where it needed to go.

Fast forward to 12:19 to see the monster pick of this uprooted tree! Went out to Texas to bring some supplies and help out removing some trees from houses. Took a big ol' chunk out of this one. Enjoy! #texas #hurricane #relief #disaster #recovery #treeonhouse #crane #treeworker #lumberjack #arborist #insurance #bigpickenergy

Shocking Video... 220v that is during dead pine tree removal

I always thought of those boxes to just be a meter of some sort, but that was in fact not a meter. While removing the pieces of the lid I got smacked by the electricity for the light pole. Lesson learned.

That saw is so sharp all he had to do was rev it at the piece to finish the cut. Incredible I tell ya.
Dropping sweet gum tree pole - Accuracy Test

We used the crane to get the tree down to a pole. I like to set up a bottle to show where I believe the tip of the tree will land and try to smack it. Within 1 foot is good enough for me.
Live Oak Removal - A Frame rigging and mostly cuts only... including my finger with a Zubat
Переглядів 4,6 тис.Місяць тому
This was my first video ever recorded and there is a lot of cursing. This was a frustrating tree, but I cut out most of the aggravation. I grabbed too high on my sheath of the zubat (hand saw) and pulled it through my index finger. 3 weeks later you can hardly see the scar.

Warning may have a curse word or 2. I bought a cheap Akaso camera from Amazon, and this was my first and last time using it to record the picks from the crane.

Ever figure out what happened with the zigzag? I love the mechanical devices (RRP, etc.), really efficient, but have never gained my trust like a rope wrench. Stay safe brother
I really dont know. That was my last day in the field before going back to the office side estimating, so i never got to see if it would happen again.
That Yale rope is 11.7mm is a little bigger than 7/16". My company has a 1/2" minimum rule with zig zag. Love it but you have to taper your ends with 1/2. And yeah They do wear eventually. Office guy eh?! I'm not there yet 😂
Talk about interesting, just wondering when.

Great Video. Would you have considered putting sheets of plywood in front of the house windows as a safety precaution?
Thanks! In hindsight, putting sheets of plywood up against the house in general where those blocks were coming down would have been a good idea. Next time I am blocking down something as close as that was I will be sure to do so. Thank you for pointing that out!
Well-executed drop and nicely filmed. Good team effort. God bless.
Thank you so much for the kind words. That made my day!
Awesome job brother
Thanks 👍 We all make mistakes. At the end of the day the power company put on a new lid, and all is well.

Where’s the A-frame?
Hello, and thanks for watching! A-Frame rigging when it comes to removing tree limbs is when you have multiple tie in points on the limb that come back to a single point, which is the ball of the crane. The ropes go out and make the shape of an A. This is done in instances where you can not tie a limb only one time and let it hinge because it would hit something underneath. In this video, it would be the house or the shed. The pieces must be cut, remain stationary (best we can), and hoisted without dropping down after being cut.
@@BoutTreeFitty Gotcha. We always called that spider-leg or multi-point rigging. I never heard it referred to as A-frame rigging.
@@small-town-southern-man3573 I just heard the spider leg thing a few months ago. We call that setup "Doinks". We use it to "doink" limbs from a tree one limb at a time, then lower the whole set to the ground to be untied, and then go at it again. Any which way, I am just getting started with the videos and plan to put out all kinds of cool stuff. Please subscribe, and if you start making some videos I will subscribe to yours also. Thanks!
