Such a beautiful video ! I now 73 , stayed long summers in Serifos at Maria and Manoli Taverne and rooms at Psili Ammos ! I started in 1984 during 13 years! Only great memories staying there and exploring the whole island! Made beautiful pictures in color and black and white ! Looking back now seeing this my heart is weak and full of joy! Thanks so munch ! 💫💫💫🫢🫢🫢🙏

The village you visited was the well known Christos in the Raches district. Pigi is somewhere else, more to the east in the direction of Evdilos.

Blue Star Ferry that is slow takes 5 hours from Piraeus as of 2024. Fast ferry like Jumbo Jet takes 3 hours. Great video x

Υπέροχο βίντεο για άλλη μία φορά... αυτά που μας παρουσιάζεται. Δυστυχώς το νησί έχει αλλάξει έχουν χάσει το μέτρο.... πανάκριβο για οικογένειες! Εάν θέλετε να βγείτε να φάτε μαγειρευτά φαγητά ελληνικά πανάκριβα, φανταστείτε το γιουβέτσι που μου ζήτησε το παιδί μου 18€, φυσικά σηκώθηκα από το τραπέζι όταν είδα τις τιμές στον τιμοκατάλογο....και όχι σε ένα μαγαζί το είδα σε πολλά, πως θα τα αρπάξουν. Το ίδιο και τα ενοικιαζόμενα διαμερίσματα και ξενοδοχεία. Πολύ κρίμα ελπίζω να βάλουν μυαλό σύντομα γιατί ο κόσμος δεν είναι χαζός είτε από Ελλάδα είτε από εξωτερικό... υπάρχει και η οικονομική κρίση που είναι παγκόσμια. Προσγειωθείτε σύντομα γιατί θα χάσετε κόσμο. Με αγάπη!

I used to go many times to Serifos from `80 to `96 and those last three minutes of the video are special to me, because, they show places where I used to stay for months at a time back when Karavi Beach (named after a sunken boat in the bay) was a hippie-hang-out nudist beach colony where a variety of peoples from all over the world-and greeks- wanderes, traveler's all-would live in small stone settings with bamboo roofs or tents in the seventies and early eighties when Julie and Spiros, who would bring an ice block every morning by boat and would run a basic small shed/roof on poles kind of bar/library with beer and sodas and sometimes local wine on special occasions, situated in the end of the beach closest to town and everyone would join there in the afternoons before going to Livadi in the evenings to dine and visit kafeneons, bars and clubs or even a few discos around. Later on My dad owned a house in Livadakia and lived there 6 months a year, just at the place where this video is filmed from and here we would visit him every summer for many years the whole family and friends-great times! Thank you for posting, a great joy to watch

Πολύ όμορφο νησί…όπως τα περισσότερα νησιά ….αλλα βέβαια από τον Νοέμβριο μέχρι τον Μάρτιο είναι θαρρείς ακατοίκητα …ίσως για να γνωρίσει κανείς τα νησιά μας όταν δεν τον ενδιαφέρει να κολυμπήσει κ του αρέσει ησυχία ,ίσως είναι η καλύτερη περίοδος να απολαύσει τις ομορφιές των νησιών …αλλά οι τόςες αδέσποτες γάτες είναι ένα μεγάλο πρόβλημα …
