Let's Play Skyrim Legendary Survival | Part 10 | Getting Zephyr
Good job clearing out Dry Rock Gulch. One more thing you can do in the area but only after power is restored to Nuka World is unlocking the employee area. Once that's done just go out the eastern gate, turn right, and walk along the wall until you get to some hedges. Behind those, you'll find a terminal which unlocks a door. There's a magazine on a rooftop and some random loot.
I'm not convinced that getting over-encumbered is that annoying to you since you refuse to drink alcohol, take Buffout or eat Grilled Radstag or Gazelle to increase your carry capacity for a short time as concerns the former and an entire session with the latter.
More info I've likely shared before but worth repeating as far as crafting upgrades: everything is intended to optimize character strengths and weaknesses, if you have a minimum strength allocation adding pockets or deep pockets enhances your carry capacity. If you have a minimum agility mods that reduce weight on armor usually add a buff to Action Points, or improve stealth (like muffled or shadowed mods). Armor mods such as "stabilized" help steady your aiming and so on and so on. If you specialize in sniper perks then mods that improve critical hit damage such as "calibrated" allow your critical hits to maximize damage output, but if you aren't specifically building towards a "one-shot=one-kill" build just going with the "Advanced" maximum damage output for a weapon is just fine and dandy. It's beneficial to actually pay attention whenever you are seeking to mod armor or weapons to understand just what good they are actually doing for you. If you have spec'd out a stealth build it's kinda pointless to add shadowed or muffled mods to armor unless you get a kick out of sneaking and having an enemy walk right up and clip into you and not even realizing you are there, because you are an OP ghost and a shadow. 😁
I'm sure I've mentioned this in previous episodes, but I'll say it again. You can ignore the "Armorer Perk" very easily since any mods on armor you acquire can be removed and placed on armor you actually use. Same goes for weapons, you can ignore the "Gun Nut" perk as well. The advantage is that you can use those perk points for more useful skills and re-attaching mods require no resources.
Thank the maker, I was afraid I made you mad 'cuz I been picking on you and you weren't going to do an upload today. Whew, I am so relieved. I'm going to take this as a sign that you don't mind me picking on you. 😇
I’m just catching up on these as I’m quite far behind you and don’t want spoilers. Are you still playing on Death March?! You make it look so easy!
Thanks haha yes I am still playing on Death March. I pretty much just spam dodge in combat.
17:20 so immersed she even falls for the joke like Henry
It's timed, but you can deliver the meat and get back if you do it quickly
Once I saw you eat the Corkbulb Root, I was SO waiting for the reaction once you'd leave the item menu. :) In the base game + expansions, only Netch Jelly has Paralysis as the first ability, which leads to the same "I'm just gonna fall over" animation if you eat it.
you can shoot a deer in Sasau woods anyway, or buy from the butcher there. If you walk to Sasau the meat will go bad anyway if you have to walk.
Instead of panicking and repeating "I'm gonna die!" open up your pip boy, pop a Nuka Quantum, huff a Jet or better Psycho Jet, and use VATS to select multiple targets. It's a lot more fun to win and keep progress rather than die and lose progress. Just a suggestion to help you avoid that stuff that you say is annoying. 😇
Since you're starting Dry Rock Gulch in this episode, this seems a fitting quote for watching this episode: " Christ Almighty, it's like I'm sittin' here playin' cards with my brother's kids or somethin'." 😂😁🥰👍
Just a reminder of a quest entry in the 'to-do' list I wrote during your first playthrough: Yes, violate the inner sanctum of the Temple of Dibella. Don't let Senna see you pick the lock (you'll get a bounty if she does) but once you're in, let the priestesses in the inner sanctum see you.
For Azadi: it's better if you build up your Speech skill so you can Persuade him. It will take a lot longer for you to build up the character well enough to be able to win a brawl against him. Brawling on Legendary difficulty is generally a pain. Pretty much requires some highly enchanted gauntlets with the Unarmed Damage enchantment. The Light Armor perk above the base one would increase your overall Armor 25% if you keep wearing light armor in all four slots.
Someday, I am hoping you will start to check your status more regularly instead of continually wondering why you appear to be having issues with carry weight or health. Everything you could ignore without consequence goes right out the window in survival mode. On the high side, it definitely adds a lot more intensity and drama for you viewers as we sit in our comfortable chairs watching you make the game more difficult for yourself while we are helpless to do anything. 😃
13:42 spoilers for the next walkthroughs LOL
Hi Krista, congratulations on getting your horse... You don't necessarily have to go and follow Bernard immediately, but he won't be happy... With the meat for Johanka, you can get that again anytime by getting another 6 rabbits, now you've some experience at hunting, and hunting again will help level your bow and agility stats
There can't possibly be two large men wearing black armor in the entire province! Congratulations on your hunting victory and rescue of sir Hans. Now, Henry has an opportunity to demonstrate his investigative skills. Examine the evidence and question witnesses. Poaching(hunting without your lord's permission) is considered a crime because all of that game belongs to the lord of the land. You can remove the stolen tag by cooking the meat. There is also a quest you can get from the gamekeeper in Talmberg, which will result in you becoming the gamekeeper. Then you'll be able to hunt to your heart's content without breaking any laws.
I dont think Main Quests are time sensitive. At least not before you start them. you can prepare and sell your meat first, but make sure to start the quest to CLAIM your personal horse... certainly better than walking on foot all the time, and it has saddle bags to carry even more loot...
you cant hold your Block button all the time, it drains Stamina. only push it when the shield icon lights up or you see a strike incoming...
I think this is the longest stretch of your health in the green, lol, nicely done! That sequence with the Bloodworm straight out of Dune was truly terrifying. You have the right idea sniping at them from the high ground, you'll just need something to draw them out. Either direct Gage to where you think they might be, or start throwing grenades 😉
aim an inch to the right and below the target. the tip of the arrow isn't a crosshair. you should mark a crosshair on your monitor with a soft athesive tape at the same spot where the aimpoint is when you sheath your bow. that will surely help you
there's a button to draw/sheath the sword and the bow. could be the D-Pad on the controller I guess.
you need to loot the animals to get hunting XP. don't worry, nobody cares that it's stealing, well at least no merchants, only the Huntsmaster and maybe the Guards if they fleeze you. It's just a stupid rule that most people ignore. Also cook your raw meats on a fireplace or campfire so they dont go bad so fast.
basically you always have to aim at the lower right side of your target. best figure out during archery contests cause you get 7 free arrows to shoot and the opponents aren't very good on easy either.
yeah. I'll watch this now. this will be fun. have nice weekend!
Don’t forget to make paralysis poisons from canis root, imp stool, AND mora tapinella! My favorite! And using the oven,,,garlic, butter and bread….light weight cure disease food!
I know you prefer to run yourself ragged and waste resources, but if you actually maintain your needs (thirst & hunger) a single Iguana on a stick will ALWAYS give you a "Properly Fed" result.
A note about Rachel's terminal - anytime the game offers a password option of "Guido", choose it. 😁
You can also poison your Sword and Arrows ...once you know Alchemy. Bane potion is good for arrows, while Dollmaker is good on a sword to make the enemies freeze. One potion is good for 5 arrows. To make money I robbed the Armorer in Rattay at night and the Library in the Rathaus to loot books and level up reading. If you store stolen goods in your chest for a few days you can sell them to any merchant.
You can cast Oakflesh and get the Alteration XP at any time, not just when an enemy is nearby. When you continue with the 'A Night To Remember' quest, do not Persuade or Intimidate your way through it, as that will make you miss a lot of content. Go find the things asked for instead. It's amongst the funniest and enjoyable quests in Skyrim. You missed a lot of the good bits on your first playthrough. I think that you'll really enjoy those bits.
I second this, it's so unfortunate to miss parts of this quest. For every conversation in the quest, back out of the conversation when the quest updates, then follow the new instructions.
Marcurio, and not forgetting poor Thistle, will likely reappear if you take a carriage somewhere. If not, they should return to their original spots after 3 days. Thistle will be at the Alchemist's Shack. I think they got stuck on the roof of Raldbthar, when you jumped down, because there is no actual path there for them to follow. Another fun episode! 👍
Followers will leave the player's service and return to their original spot after 3 days if you have told them to wait. But I don't think Marcurio will in this case. Yes, taking a carriage is the best chance to get him back. When I read the title, I was sure he was going to die in this episode.
Can't you remap buttons so they do more of the same things across the games you play? On another note: Hawk Feathers cure diseases if you eat one. Whenever you are in Solitude (or by the docks), you can shoot down a couple of them. Each hawk provides three feathers. Also, it's cheaper (at least early on) to pay for a shrine blessing than to buy a Cure Disease potion. You could have visited the Shrine of Talos in Windhelm and paid 100 gold instead of 219.
5:04 My thoughts here: "Good, you made the dangerous ice wolf flee to the left and behind you. Now quickly RUN straight ahead (well, slightly to the right) along the creek before the effect times out! No? Wtf are you doing still dallying around... Ah, at least you can cross the water if they should attack. It's freezing so it will hurt a little but you'll be safe on the other side. No? Yeah, figures..."
Hey just found your channel since I started playing Skyrim again as well. Good Stuff! lol Great Game.
this stumbled upon my for you page. what an absolute hidden gem you are
Alchemy tip, you can enchant 5 items with fortify alchemy. Allowing you to make more powerful potions than you can buy. A ring, necklace, circlet, braces or gloves, and there are a few helmets you can wear with a circlet, the easiest one to get is a falmer helmet (the one with an open face). You can make a fortify restoration potion that increases the effects of enchanted clothing, allowing you to create op potions. You can also make a four piece smithing outfit. Along with a smithing potion, you can make bad ass armor and weapons.
Important tip, you can fast travel on survival mode, as long as these conditions have been met; well fed, well rested, and you are not cold. It’s best to sleep in an inn. Before you exit the inn or home check active effects make sure you are well fed and rested then exit, as soon as you spawn outside go to maps quickly and try, it may take a few times to get the timing right.
Don't Forget to like and subscribe❤
Don't know if you figured it out or someone told you yet so ignore if so.. a settler assigned to the defense towers will work up to 3 of them so if you assigned the one settler to defense if you build 3 post for them it will give you the max defense you can get from each person you assigned.. if you have 2 assigned to defense then 6 towers would be maxed etc.. when it comes to farms each settler assigned to food can work up to 6 total points of food... if you look things like tatos have .5 points of food... so if you do the math you can max out each person working food if you add up to 6 total points for each person to work.. so one person when assigned will work 12 plots of any food rated .5 and 6 plots for any rated 1 like the mutfruits once you understand how that works you can maximize your numbers and workers
Krista…which you think is better. Witcher or KCD ?
That's a tough questions. I am really enjoying both games but they are both very different. Maybe The Witcher because the gameplay is easier lol. But both games are super fun though.
My your Friday filled with joy and laughter! 😊 😃 😄 ☺️
There are several sets of rules between the different fistfights. Sometimes you can use signs, sometimes not. If you can't use signs, you are sometimes still allowed to use food and potions. And sometimes you can't use either but if you have food healing on (e.g. with the help from Gourmet), it will still function. But sometimes not, food healing will then be stopped when the fight starts.
It's always nice to see someone young discovering that games can be more than shallow shooters. It's sad tho that this era of gaming is over and now we are doomed too woke corporation crap. Respect and peace.
Isn't that Superior Racing Saddle you are carrying better than the one equipped on Roach? Oh yes, Delusion is good to have activated in the city.
Lydia disappeared in Markarth during my third play through I think it was, spent hours and hours retracing my steps, tried using carriages to get her to respawn - never ever found her. Checked the Hall of the Dead in Whiterun many many times just to see if her remains ever showed up but they never did. I then rented a cab in the real world and travelled to Maryland and punched Todd Howard in the face. Spent several days in jail but it was worth it. He was going to sue me as well, until I explained about Lydia and he decided to let it go since he deserved it.😁
🤣😂
On PC you can Prid her reference ID and teleport her to you. Or teleport yourself to her if you are curious where the heck she got stuck. Save before...
@@jiansonz Sadly I was on PS4
That is why I never take my housecarls with me. I use relocation mods to store them at Heljarchen ☺️😉🥰…its fun to watch them defend the home from enemies 😉
22:39 Scorch burns the strongest non-hero card(s) on the board. In this situation, the strongest are the two cards with 12 in strength: Vesemir on his side and Dethmold on your side, so they were fried.
The part you thought was scary in the gwent deck builder was that you took a look at your other three decks: Nilfgaard, Scoia'tael and Monsters. You can build a deck for each faction. They have different strengths and weaknesses and encourage different playstyles. Some cards are neutral, meaning they can be put in all the decks. All special cards are like this (weather cards, Decoy, Scorch, Commander's Horn) as well as some of the units. The neutral unit cards you have so far are Zoltan Chivay, Yennefer and Vesemir.
Leveling up and putting perks in alchemy will make your potions and poisons stronger ⚗️🧪
Yes, you can make potions of paralysis last longer... or make any potion more potent for that matter. You'll need to put together a Fortify Alchemy ensemble, a ring, an amulet, gauntlets, and a circlet. When you can, buy or enchant those items for more powerful potions 😉 I suspect Marcurio fell victim to a bug in the game where a follower can remain frozen in place...
