Naka-Kon is an Overland Park, Kansas based anime convention. We celebrate Japanese animation and the influence anime has in the Midwest and around the globe by educating people from all walks of life in many diverse facets of popular and traditional Japanese culture.
Each year, Naka-Kon invites an array of voice actors and manga artists who host a variety of panels and events designed to educate and entertain both current anime enthusiasts and those who wish to learn more about the American otaku subculture. Don't miss a moment of the fun!

DJ BAN BAN BAN - Comedy/DJ Guests for Naka-Kon 2025!
Hello, Nakama!
We’re excited to announce our first-ever Japanese comedian and DJ guest of honor, BAN BAN BAN! BAN BAN BAN consists of the comedy duo of Hiromi Sameshima and Masatake Yamamoto and is famous for their performance act, Anison Disco. Anison Disco is a fun interactive event open to all ages and fandom, and attendees will be able to enjoy dancing (wotagei) to their favorite anime songs (anison)! On stage, Sameshima-san serves as the DJ, and Yamaoto-san cosplays and impersonates Frieza, the main antagonist of Dragon Ball Z, who is a favorite amongst the fans. Please give BAN BAN BAN a warm welcome to Naka-Kon, and please check out Anison Disco on the main stage!

I had such an amazing time this year! I recorded a video on my thoughts on this years convention on my channel. Thanks to everyone who helped make this convention one to remember!
Cool! It was fun to try to pick out the certain events in this. I went to the dance party Friday night and performed at the Idol Fest Sunday and had a great time!
