Pink Litmus Paper Suit - Voices With Music / For Today
Song taken from the very obscure self-released 1987 LP "The Owl In Daylight" by the duo Pink Litmus Paper Suit. One of the two members was Rich Cuevas, much better known as one-half of the avant-pop duo Zru Vogue. The record was pressed on translucent pink wax and issued in a clear PVC sleeve with an insert.

First song on side 2 of Group L.A.'s LP "Persistence of Vision" released in 1987 on the Tegua label out of Columbus, OH. This was a band put together by the label owner L.A. Jenkins, who had a couple highly sought-after boogie/funk releases on the same label. This version is amazing, SHUT THE FUCK UP.
Honestly I can't understand the complaining about X&O version of "Lady shave"... they made it in their own style and it wasn't meant to be (and it shouldn't have been) a carbon copy of the original version. I guess Frank Tovey would be proud of the homage they paid to him, approaching to "Lady shave" as it was a song of nowadays and not something from 3 decades ago...
