every country has it pros and cons.there will always BE A good and bad people, but i would say that cambodia is definitely safer than what the media shows.
Killing Fields were not a myth. But, it is in the past. But I say it respectably since some are still suffering from that period, and some would cite areas of southeast area that are not safe.
I like the Pink Floyd t shirt.im glad you love my country Cambodia
I went to see the Truckers often, when they got beaten down, I knew I had to leave Canada. Interestingly, I zeroed in on Cambodia then saw this interview. Confirmation. Thank you for your information.
Most people don't understand it's not that I hate or even dislike America. I'm just bored out of my mind and everything you want to do cost at minimum 100 dollars per person. I definitely agree about the car culture. I walk every day but rarely see anyone unless they're in their cars. I'm working on making my way to live in Asia. I will bounce around viet, lao, cambodia, Thailand and the Philippines to see which country I enjoy the most and after I'm tired of roaming plant some roots. Great video!!!😊
🙏❤️
Thanks you my friend I'm Canadian and Cambodia 👍👌♥️♥️♥️🌹🌹🇨🇦🇰🇭

The common theme and most often common #1 comment from those visiting or choosing to stay in Cambodia - The Cambodian People .
Cambodia here I come.❤️❤️👍🙏💪🏼🏆
Dude in the background just casually playing game on his phone 🤣, so funny😂 Edit: wish it was candy crush🥴
Much better people in Cambodia then Thailand! Thias aee oftrn racist non smart drivers.
Siem Reap is a beautiful town 😍🎉
I clicked on this fully expecting to dislike it because so many of these are trash. I ended up watching the entire thing. I am an American guy and have lived and loved Siem Reap for eight years. I have a large Cambodian family beginning with my wife and two adult daughters. An hour’s interview with not one ounce of bullshit. Well done.
Warmly welcome to Cambodia 🤗 Enjoy your stay.
🇰🇭🙏
❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
Cambodia has a stigma people in the west are so far far away it will continue to grow fast as people understand that most locals can speak a little English. The country just needs to make the scenes @ places clean and taken care of. Some bridges and sidewalks couldn’t hurt.
❤
Watching this interview makes me feel like I need to go back to visit Cambodia again.
Retirement as a senior citizens in the USA is really boring with depressions and stresses and you can't even go out much because of crimes running everywhere and not even safe at all plus one of the worst part in life is the Americans or natural born citizens don't even have respect or gratitude torse their elders at all like we Asians have in our countries.
Cambodia 🇰🇭 is very beautiful country with culture, temple, beach, sunrise & sunset 🌅, nice people ,…..
Welcome to Cambodia 🇰🇭
I live in Cambodia
no hate but, if you were born/ and/ or raised outside of cambodia, it is natural and understandable that people in cambodia would not consider you cambodian. the way you grew up, the society, etc. has been influenced by that country. of course although they may say your not khmer, but technically they know you are khmer…but at the same time…. you’re not. it’s not just cambodians that feels this way, other countries in asia carries the same idea. especially, when you can’t even speak your parents mother tongue.

In my view as Cambodian, we always express our appreciation towards foreigners coz we have gone through misconceptions from other countries/ the world for decades and we are trying our best to prove our true self. So when we see foreigners come to visit us we see them as savers and hope. The hope that foreigners can understand or experience the truth not misconceptions. Moreover, Cambodian has a heart to serve guests well. In our culture or family norms, as a host we have to serve or treat guests as well as we can. Anw, thank Austin and all your guests in your interviewed videos 🙏🏻 We Cambodian much appreciate your work! ❤
Looks like a nice cafe. Where is it?
Thank you for sharing for Cambodia 🇰🇭 Cambodian people kindly and Smile 😊 make energy for your travel to Cambodia 🇰🇭 ❤❤😊😊
The misconception of Cambodia is so outrageous! Thank you for the interview.
Pra'hok is fkn fire... If you aint khmai, eat it with steak & rice. W/ Veggies. Got myself hungry. Find "Fish A'mok" while your at it. Legendary dish. Its fish wrapped in banana leaf & ingredients. Love from Cambodian Americans Austin & Sean🤟

I am living in Kyoto, Japan, as Cambodian international student. I dare to say no place is perfect. In Japan, indiscriminate knife attack occurs often in Japan esp at Train station resulting from mental illness of the country. Everyone is worried about safety including Japanese passengers.
Most expats have biased views but no actual research or study on the culture . Siem Reap is full of Khmer Rouge supporters . If you don't at least speak the language, you can't understand anything about where you are. So it's all just POV .
I went to cambodia recently it was one of the most freindliest SEA countries ive been too.
No money no respect no money no girl ❤️❤️
