How can you save the new settings in simulator mode so that you don't need to set them up again once you're out on the water?

I have a Solix 10 & 12, after the last update, I can't use my 360, the new update doesn't support the originall 360. I installed a Helix 9 G2 to be dedicated to my 360,. What cable do I need to connect the 360 directly to my Helix 9, I've looked everywhere, but have not found the answer. Thank you

In general, the TI units are faster in response to inputs. This is seen when quickly switching between sonar, downscan, chart, and split screens ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxeAxH15LxhjGlg5-CRYqjTGTEH0tbY4vk recommend The Hook units will show some lag on button pushes and screen switching. The big ticket item though is maps. If you install a mapping card such as Navionics or the free C-Map Genesis which has a lot of map detail, then moving around the map with the cursor or when running down the lake can lag significantly on the Hook units, but is seamless with the TI units.

Your settings aren't that great. The result is it's way too dark, as it gets farther away from the boat, therefore eliminating any bottom details in the dark area. And, yes the camera is way too far away from the Helix too. Tom Boley has a July 2nd 2021 video you should watch. Great tips.

What's up with the depth reading going from 6ft to 400ft

I wanted so bad to learn how to use the Side Image feature but I was afraid I would screw up the other settings. Now thanks to your video I feel confident enough to play around with the settings and Side Imagining. Looking forward to getting back on the water around mid-week so I can try this out. Thanks for the great tip here. Looking to train on my new Helix 7. On the unit in normal mode, do you disconnect your transducer and still access your maps? I read somewhere that transducer beams out of water is not healthy for the unit. Thanks again!
