I love water in all its forms. The ocean, the beach, creeks, rivers, streams and lakes. I even love puddling around in drains! I also love all sorts of animals. You'll find all of these things on my channel. Oh, and I like planes, trains and automobiles too.
Drain unblock back in old town. Lots of grass and leaves blocking the drain
Back in my old stomping (draining?) ground for the weekend and the same drains still blocked. Haven't got any equipment this time so it's back to clearing by hand

Journey to a Cleaner World. Introducing my New Channel on Plastic Recycling and Advocacy
Переглядів 1389 місяців тому
Hey everyone! This video is an introduction to my new channel where I'm starting my journey in the fight against plastic pollution. For those of you that don't know me, my name is Nick and I've been running a channel for the past few years that focuses on water, including snorkeling, beaches and drain cleaning to name a few topics. But for the past year I've been working on a different project ...

Brown Spotted Wrasse, Scalyfin and Sea Sweep at Middle Island #snorkeling #reef

Snorkeling in an unusual spot, only accessible when the tide and swell are right. Lots of fascinating fish, including the brown-spotted wrasse early in video. They start life as female and then transition to male as they get older. The ones in the video here are female, and they will change colour when they change sex.

What about the other side? Both sides need cleaned
Hey i m think uk government and american government clean the drain garbedge and trash mission
The local government clean this one too, but not often enough
No entiendo, Que quieres? Tapar o destapar? Tirar la basura al drenaje no es lo correcto
A cinematic masterpiece guys, I was riveted. Will Nic find the second drain? Will Sez survive the perilous filming conditions? Where did that bit of cardboard even come from? Keep up the good work, loved the narration as well 📽 👏
We appreciate your enthusiasm and commentary on the narrative structure of our work ☺️😁
Rake means no risk of being bitten or cutting yourself, though I can’t imagine that you see much broken glass there, it looks idyllic to be honest! The Lucky Country indeed 😊
Ah no, there's just as much rubbish and broken glass here as in other parts of the world. I wasn't very careful tbh
I know that you know your native wildlife but aren’t you afraid of spiders in the grass? Or A.M. I thinking about a different part of the continent?
There aren't any dangerous spiders in the grass around here, that would be a concern further north though
recognised it straightaway
😁😂
Glad Mrs J was there to help!
Definitely 😁
I was soooo helpful ha
It’s been a while. Easier when you have someone filming for you. 🎉🎉✌️😎
Yeah, I would definitely have dropped the camera
Thank you 😊
I enjoy it 😊
B-E-A-utiful. 🎉🎉✌️😎
🙏
When possible, please rake the leaves up on the grass, not into the street!
I do try 😔
Been a while since you found one of those. 🎉🎉✌️😎
It has!
Winter? lol. If that was here. The water would be ice. And 5 feet of snow. 🎉🎉✌️😎
We've got it good 😊
Where?
Warrnambool, south west coast of Victoria, Australia
What are the humps at the beginning that the people are sitting on?🎉🎉✌️😎
It used to be an aquarium that pumped sea water through its tanks. They had lots of different salt water fish. Closed for many years now
of course the real solution here is for the roads to be regularly swept and drains to be checked but its easier to just throw up your hands and say "act of god" when you are the local councillor
I must admit, they don't seem to get cleaned very much
A little bit more advanced than the ones we had as kids. lol. 🎉🎉✌️😎
Very fancy!
Unless he bags those leaves up he is waisting his time because they are going to right back in the street
Learn how to do a setup video! You're leaving out all the descriptive pieces and everything. And you're doing it wrong. He left the Caps turned open and put the lid back on😅. Not to mention tearing up some pretty nice hardwood floors😂.... I mean you didn't even find the gauge until you over inflated it which is the worst mistake of all. If you did any homework before the purchase you would know it comes with a booster seat. Here's an idea if you haven't done any homework or even if you have, read the manual!!!!!!
Let it flow, let it flow, let it flow❣️
☺️
No kerb. Big leaves. Small gratings. No brains.
The video makes the viewer nervous
Why is that?
Don’t forget to clear the leaves away and not to leave them on the side as with heavy rain they will just wash back and clog up again
True, really need to take a wheelbarrow on my travels
Ya need to unblock the others as well
I wasn't able to get in to that one, it was blocked under the road
Hola 😍! Eres lo qué falta en éste Planeta Conciencia, denunciar el exceso de plásticos te hace más ser humano. Muchas Gracias 💖

Thank you for all your support 🙏
Now that’s some water you don’t want to fall into. ☠️ 🎉🎉✌️😎
There's a sign on the other side of the dam that says "no swimming". 🤔
Absolutely awe-inspiring. Why was it happening?
It's the release from a hydroelectric plant at a large dam
@@njy69 I gathered that much. I meant why are they dumping that much, trying to empty the reservoir?
@@Bobal27 as far as I can tell it's just the normal flow
@@njy69 Ok. Thanks for the vid and the info :)
Super was sie da machen !
Danke!
They are so cool. 🎉🎉✌️😎
They're pretty chilled out. Not too fussed about us
Where did you move to.
Warrnambool
There’s nothing more calming than going down to the beach and listening to the waves crash on the rocks. 🎉🎉✌️😎
Nice seeing you on the streets again. Nice job. Not sure if it was my end or the video. But there was no sound 🎉🎉✌️😎
Using a new video editing app. Haven't quite got the hang of it 😕
Nice job!
Thanks 😊
Post 10 is the CEO of draining ....
Do yourself a favour and get a tripod for your phone/camera, it would make the vids better and that way you can use 2 hands to move the crap mate.
Have got one since 👍
Invest in a tripod
I have done since this video 😊👍
I’ve had that happen to me before. Had to use a ratchet strap to pull the axle back into place so I could get home. Hope everything works out for ya. 🎉🎉✌️😎
Good idea! We're getting a tilt tray truck
That looks more like gel than water 🎉🎉✌️😎
Great video, please buy a rake
😂👍
Beautiful spot. 🎉🎉✌️😎
I don't usually get out there. But conditions were perfect this day
I’m not used to seeing him dry. 😂🎉🎉✌️😎
I'm glad he was this time!
You made that hard for yourself
True, wish I had a rake!
Adorable Pup! 🐶 ❤
He's very friendly. Perhaps too friendly
He’s out looking for some supper. Trying not to be someone’s supper. lol. 🎉🎉✌️😎
Awesome visibility. That one zebra fish came in for his close up shots. Modeling for the camera. 🎉🎉✌️😎
That one was a magpie perch, very interested in what I was up to 😁
Curious little buggers. 🎉🎉✌️😎
