This is amazing. Imagine if they did an alternative version of TOTK where Link fell and Zelda stayed. Oh, and everyone already knows the name: Legend of Zelda: The Missing Link In this version, Link disappears into the darkness below. Playing as Zelda, you grab the Slate and use runes to make it out of the castle as things fall apart. Finally, you make it to the field only to see the great upheaval. In the process, the slate gets damaged. Now, you have to search the world and figure out what’s going on. In doing so, you get physically stronger and gain skills related to light and time powers (Recall) and are able to naturally use certain runes like Stasis. Slowing down time like Link is also possible, but maybe we take things further and just straight up slow down time with from any state with a magic meter. She’ll also be very invested in strength through technology. In her journey, Zelda will have to learn about the imprisoning war through finding time stones in the sky islands and depths. In a misdirection, we initially believe Link is in the depths, but we later find out he really did go back in time due to our own time powers sending him away to save him from falling to death. Sadly the cost of imprisoning Ganon is Link’s life. We find this out in the final battle… or so it seems. With our time power fully controlled, we rush headlong into the past to join the fight, saving Link in the process, but still only sealing Ganon before both leave for the future. With Link saved, we resume battle with Ganon in the present and win. As a bit of flavor, the 1st timeline before Link is saved shows signs of instability in the world which only resolve when we bring Link back.

Underrated

She doesn’t have the physical skill of Tetra or Ocarina of Time Zelda, but I feel like if BotW/TotK Zelda picked-up the Master Sword, Fi would be like "yeah alright lets do this" and it'd do all the master sword things it's supposed to. (Actually, didn't we hear Fi in TotK when Zelda took it?). Her willpower is just obscene, holding Calamity Ganon for 100 years and then what she does in TotK... I could imagine her being accepted as a second chosen hero by the sword. Tetra could hold it and it was in/before a battle, but it was unclear if it truly was fighting with her (it did still glow). BotW/TotK Zelda absolutely could fight with it.

It’s not lore accurate Zelda was already hit so she couldn’t be at max Health anymore. But she still shot beams out of the master sword! NOT LORE ACCURATE 😂😂

Y’know how link in TOTK, when he finds all of the diffrent clothes from each game (like OoT, MM,The minish cap, etc etc) I would always imagine when he wears it, he see’s the past and what they have been through…

This is good as hell. And really really well done. But it wouldn't be The legend of Zelda without link being the Main protagonist in my opinion.
