August was a weird reading month for me, like everything was either a 5 star surprise or a disappointing 3, lol Highest rated (fiction) book: The Spellshop by Sarah Beth Durst Lowest rated books: Silver Under Nightfall by Rin Chupeco, Thorn by Intisar Khanani, and The Sword Defiant by Gareth Hanrahan (all of which were fine, but such a slog for me to get through)

I think my favorite read for august was the serpent & the wings of night & my least favorite was the storied life of aj fikry :( I know a lot of people loved that book but I genuinely couldn't connect with it at aallllllll

My highest rated book this month was Bridesmaids for Hire ❤ 15 out of 5 🎉 My lowest rate book was Blood on the Tides 3.5 out of 5; I’m not a fantasy girl BUT I did enjoy this book a lot until I wanted to read something else 😅
