I know this is 6 years old.. but I found this trying to get a good voice setup on my board and yours sounds great! Do I see it's some kind of clav sound? Did you layer some? Thanks again!
Yeah I combined a clav with a saw synth. Had to do it myself because there was no preset. The clav/saw works well with lots of 80s songs. You get the attack of the clav and the sustain of the saw and it sounds super 80s. 😀

Sometimes our band plays downtuned for the singer and sometimes I'll transpose for ease of play. Can't remember why I transposed this song. It's confusing! 😀

How come it's transposed, for ease?
Great question! I believe this song was recorded downtuned originally so I learned it that way. But I'm in a cover band and one set we do downtuned and one set we do normal, so some songs I downtune for that reason. And some songs I downtune for ease of play. It's very confusing! Haha! I'm not a great keyboard player so any trick I can use to make it simpler I use. I'm working on learning 5 new songs and I'll make videos for those soon. I make the videos so I can remember how to play my part. I practice along with them. But then I figured some folks on UA-cam might like them for the same reason so I posted them. Rock on!

@@JoeChasse I wrote the midi file in cakewalk by bandlab and then printed it out. I could send you the midi file or cakewalk file or I could scan the printed music and send you the jpeg files. 😀

That bowed bass is so cool.
You hear plucked upright bass all the time, but the bowed bass sounds super deep and menacing. A good fit for rock music. 😀
