LittleBigPlanet - English Seaside - The Port
All of the unused ‘Seaside’ Levels from LittleBigPlanet were recently found in a 2009 build of the game, but for some reason, the first level of the theme, ‘The Port’ hasn’t been documented yet. So I’ve found two early versions of the level in the files and i’m posting them here. Enjoy.

Sorry about the poor framerate.

My duma$$ thought it was my tablet quality 💀🫥🫥
Please... turn on "Read Color Buffers" in the GPU settings of your emulator... i beg of you
I want seaside (and other unused lbp themes) to be used in lbp4... if it comes. Just awesome ideas what never made it.
Something I notice is that the pirate looks like the early version of The King from the gardens. I think they reused it when they redesigned the king.
or they could be reusing early king assets as a placeholder
one day we will find most likely every build of littlebigplanet lol
Now I imagine one the levels featuring the song « Shake Your Coconuts » from Junior Senior (aka Worms 3D menu song)
Nah nvm changed my mind recreating something is very long and time consuming.
yea. im gonna remake LBP Hub introduction when servers come back up
Btw what does danny say at the beginning?
Thanks. I can now try and remake it on lbp3 with the modded seaside background from cthulhusleeping (currently making english seaside remake)
Will you ever document the other levels?
If you mean Seaside levels, then no, because others have already documented them. If you mean deploy levels in general, then probably still no, as the build has been out for almost 2 years and most of the major stuff has been documented online already. I uploaded these levels because no one else had at the time.
Imagine how it would like like if it was actually finished. 👀
5 year old me would not have the patience for this level
was this a map you made in the leaked deploy build we got or is this a map already in it?
This is a map that was in the deploy files
@@mooli7777 neat
Set the video speed to x1.5 and it looks more like how fast it's supposed to be going
That’s exactly what I did before seeing this 😂
1.25 is closer
@@sealy1 @Sealy I guess the sound effects being sped up kindof makes it weird to tell the exact speed, but the easiest way I figured out it was x1.5 is knowing the score multiplier lasts for 0.5 second before ending, and in x1.5 speed, to me it felt perfectly lined up
@@Arqouda ah fair
True
Why so laggy?
One day I hope we can find the latest build with the seaside before it was scrapped. Imagine!
Same here!
you reckon it is possible to post these levels online with a few adjustments ofc
Probably, but I'd say people have already or are currently recreating them.
@@mooli7777 And that would def look wayyyyyy better and play wayyyy better
what happens if you try to import this level on the retail build of lbp1?
It should work
@@mysticaxolotl8215 aside from the background of course
Out of all the LBP story levels, this one has got to be the ugliest. No wonder it was deleted.
It’s a prototype
@@RainTheMain808 Then why was it deleted?
@@thelibyanplzcomeback ask the developers why they cut a theme late in development
@@thelibyanplzcomeback It was probably scrapped due to either time or storage constraints. The reason it looks so ugly and bland is because it was cut before MM could give it any kind of polish.
The materials used are possibly replacement textures, that would’ve probably been replaced with new ones if development continued with this level.
How did you find this??
It was on the Deploy Build for LBP 1 that was found about a year ago.
This makes me wonder if there’s a copy of the GDC 2007 build somewhere. I’ve always wanted to play that version.
There is. At MM headquarters.
@@vik8218 the tricky part is convincing them to hand the disk over to a guy who will dump the rom online.
@@vik8218 what if they overwritten it with the final game? or the hdd is mostly wiped? or even they don't even have it at all.
@@weirdguy2x they have a disk
How to get deploy build?
Nvm got it
How
When New video deploy build lbp
Wait so it this the real deal or not?
It’s real, the level files can be found on a build of LBP 1 called the ‘Deploy’ Build
@@mooli7777 Oh ok that's cool. Never knew that they actually started making these levels.
@@mooli7777 when the New video of deploy build
Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag
why is there a mouse on the screen ? its possible to use it in create mode ?
It’s just part of the build, I heard It was because Mm was planning on adding mouse support in the game, but I don’t know if that’s 100% true. And you can’t use it either, It’s just sorta… there.
kinda sad
Because the port doesnt start on the submarine
How come the game is chugging so badly? 😂
I’m playing this from my Laptop, also this build of the game is pretty unstable, I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it. Some levels actually run really well, others, really poorly.
@@mooli7777 no this build is stable (i played it on a ps3)
@@m1ttyyy Maybe it's an emulator thing then
They're using an emulator. their laptop is not fast enough to handle the game at full speed. So it chugs.
@@pacomatic9833 Yeah it’s weird the retail release of LBP 1 runs perfectly fine, just not the Deploy build.
This is cool but strange. I wonder if MM prototypes levels out of sponge for some reason rather than cardboard or something.
I think the sponge was supposed to be sand
@@mooli7777 same
@@mooli7777 yup same
The sponge was sand
I was originally gonna add some text to the video to add some commentary, but I decided to let the footage speak for itself, let me know if you have any questions, and I’ll do my best to answer.
Wow! I’m definitely using the second one! thanks for telling me about these!
Oh you are?
HOLY- THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH welp looks like I'm remaking port from the ground up again
