Hell yea, that’s awesome! Hope the kids made you proud! Percussion State Champions twice in 3yrs (‘17-3rd, ‘18-1st, ‘19-5th, ‘20-1st). The best groups I’ve ever taught! Check out the other videos I have of them on this channel…still uploading old videos I find on my old phones! 🍊🥁

Who woulda knew14 years later we were still the best drumline 🥲🥲 🔥 🔥 ... those bass runs were very clean. Those long line rolls are pretty crispy .... sick man. Is the cadence "TODD" (TRIPPIN OUT DROOPY DOG) sheet music still floating around that place?
Thanks for the compliments! The kids worked hard and were at the top of the state for a good 4yrs in a row (winning state twice). Not sure if the music to that cadence is still around. I taught there from 2012-2019 and I’m not going to lie, I phased out a lot of the older stuff and moved towards college/drum corps cadences to progress the group to more challenging music…still played “crank it” and “DTP”. Got some other videos up from 2017 and 2019…and I’m still finding old warm up lot videos on my old iPhones and I post them when I stumble upon them. 🍊🥁☠️⚔️

@@eboone yep. Kids dropping left and right, but the group fought throw a few years of being small…they just finished their local circuit with 7-5-5, like 10 up front, and 4 visual…took gold at their circuit championships

they’re kinda known as being the jokesters in wgi but this show is such a nice change in pace and it’s pretty freaking dope
I wouldn't necessarily say jokesters. I would say they're far more theatric than other groups.

That piece was so amazing!!! Man..... I wish I stayed in conflux..... I was on their cymbal line, but I had to focus on school. I want Mr. Omar to see my rudiments, and other techniques on snare. Congrats on the 2nd place guys!
