Awesome video!! I picked up this Lee app do de cap my brass. The Lee app case inserter is horrible. Where did you get the 3d case inserter from?

@@sanjacintooutdoors8588 thank you
May I ask how one can go about purchasing powder from Saint Marks? Or is this more of a “business to business only” type thing. I’ve been using a pound of TiteGroup and while I do like it, that case volume issue is one that I’m aware of. I think that for my needs, Winchester 231 is better for me.
So Saint Marks powder company makes OPB-242, They are focused on the Big Fish buyer not necessarily the individual. Hodgdon is a bottler of this powder nothing more. They buy it in drums and repackage it into reloader sized containers. I stumbled onto a drum of it that a gentleman who shut down his commercial remanufacturing business due to lack of primers during the height of covid. He had a sealed drum and wanted to trade for some powders I had in 8 pound jugs. We made a deal. I met him and we made the trade. I can say most likely i could shoot every weekend and never burn it all up in 30 years. You can try contacting SMP and see if they will sell you a drum. They likely wont but you can try. Hp38/Ww231 are the hodgdon bottle name but Saint marks calls it SMP-231. Same stuff. There is a document floating around the internet that gives all the saint marks names and the Hodgdon names. Its pretty easy to find.
Thanks for the share. Curious question, though. You say you can see night sights at night, but not fibers, which is why you don't like the latter. Have you tried the experiment of seeing if you can pick up the sights when there's illumination, such as a wml activated? If you do, you'll notice immediately the silhouette of the sights, providing you enough info to go to work if needed. I've tried this myself with both types and have noticed that the tritium (Trijicon HD) still washes out when there's light involved. Look forward to your feedback.
Actually, at self defense ranges seeing the profe of the gun during the daytime I am good. In darkness is where I loose it. Thus the sights. Part of my problem is growing up shooting almost exclusively revolvers. I can shoot my old beat up 22 revolver I grew up and not even see the gun. As a matter of fact i am going to shoot it today!
You are not that old.
My hair is turning white . Some is turning loose.
Where did you get the blue slider?
I got it from kevin roberts when i purchased the bullet feeder
Where did you get the blue slider?
I got the blue slider from Kevin Roberts also
My observation is the BCB coating smokes less compared to the Hi tek… great informative video thanks.
Thats exactly what I observed as well. I shoot at home and outside mostly so it doesn't make much difference to me. I try to do videos on topics that have not been covered instead of reinventing the wheel. Thanks for watching. Hit subscribe. I will never do a video on anything that bias or a freebie review.
Nice vid….thank you Bob
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
No problem. Like and subscribe if you want more brutally honest reviews. I cant stand the freebies for reviews system.
I do not see Kevin's email address anywhere

Looks to me that the factory ball ammo smoked less.
The all smoked to some degree. I shoot at home outdoors for now. I feel like for most folks its irrelevant. Do you shoot indoors? Is smoke a factor?
