I forgot to say that paragraph writing is taught, starting in Chapter 18. They teach the student step by step. My daughter loved the paragraph writing.💖

Thank you for your wonderful Bible review. I am a Lutheran. I have been learning about all the different translations, and it's been amazing that there are so many. I do have a Catholic edition of the Good News Bible, but I want a different translation. I like your video, and it's been helpful to me. I want to get this edition. Can you please tell me the font size? I usually need large print. Thank you again.

I think if you can only afford one the Divine Mercy Bible is priced lower or it was where I go to buy my Bibles. I have the Great Adventure Bible and I was impressed with the DM Bible.

I fell in love with Shirley when I worked as a one on one therapeutic helper for a child in a charter school where it was taught. The kids were so pleased with themselves and their own skill development, and I learned a ton myself! When I began homeschooling I knew I wanted to include it!

We did Phonics first and my 5 year old is easily able to decode the words in the primer lessons. She is on lesson 40 of the primer now. This is still an option for parents who don't want to teach sight words. There is still a lot of value in this learn to read curriculum. Even when child reads phonetically words naturally become sight words. The repetition in the primer speeds that process.

I have the Divine Mercy and love the content, but it is too big for me. I was hoping the Adventure would be ever so slightly smaller.
