Pretty much, yeah. I will now be ramming my face into every wall in future runs just on the off chance one of them is an illusion.

I did record the footage using Daggerfall Unity and have played using this exact build before. To my knowledge only a handful of Special Advantages didn't function properly in the original Daggerfall and none of them are ones I mention in this guide. So to my understanding this guide should work for both versions but the Ebony Dagger does cause the game to crash in the original release.

That's an awesome character build and I hope the video helped in some way with creating it! The only reason I don't recommend Spell Absorption in the video is because it can be slightly overpowered and is not indicative of the typical playthrough; meaning it's not something you want to get too used to as a new player as it makes the game MUCH easier. But I do see that you Limited your Magic Regeneration in Daylight and the Spell Absorption is serving to counterbalance that negative so I think it'll be fine and won't make the game too easy. That being said, the build looks great overall and the only suggestion I would give with regards to using it would be to try and get your Endurance to 100 as soon as possible while leveling up. Since the Endurance bonus to the HP per Level roll is not retroactively applied you lose out on a little bit of extra HP for every level you gain where Endurance is not maxed out to 100. Considering how many people seem to vehemently disagree with me I'm surprised to see this comment. It's nice to know I'm not alone.

TL;DR: Your use of ad hominem attacks discredits your own argument and is a logical fallacy. I never pushed it as fact I simply intended to state that I dislike limited visibility that ONLY affects the player as it serves only to punish the player while hiding behind the veil of "difficulty" and "challenge". First off, never said it was fact or pushed it as fact. Second, you're use of a logical fallacy known as an ad hominem to try and disprove my point only discredits any merit your argument has. I'm saying that there is times where limiting information is not challenging and most of all not fun. Limiting your visibility with darkness is not challenging in a way that's enjoyable. It's essentially the equivalent of poking someones eyes out with a spike and saying to use your eyes to solve a visual problem. I'm all for challenge when it actually is a fair challenge and actually entertaining to conquer. There is a reason I consider it as cheap difficulty as it's similar to how some old fighting games literally read your inputs to perfectly counter you. It is not a matter of your personal skill or capability not meeting the requirements it's simply a rigged challenge from the start. To put it another way, imagine you're in a race. You would want everyone to start at the same starting line right? Well with limited visibility the AI, who are not at all hindered by this, are not starting at that same starting line. It's by definition unfair. Could someone find it challenging, sure. Do I find it challenging and fun? Hell no! There is a time and place for darkness being used in games. Such as setting ambience or mood. I don't believe that using it as a mechanic is at all challenging in a good way and actively punishes the player for something completely outside their control. And for the record I have played NES and SNES games. Never had one where it limited visibility to the extent I'm talking about. In fact lighting was not even really a thing in those games so your entire argument that if I want challenge go play those has no bearing on the topic in question. I'm fine with figuring things out on my own. I'm not fine with the game essentially implementing mechanics that only exist to create artificial difficulty. Things like a lives system in certain types of games also fall under this category. Take for instance the second Legend of Zelda game, The Adventure of Link. I expect you would agree that being sent back to the starting area when you die in a palace is unfair, am I wrong? To me using darkness to ONLY limit the visibility of the player is the same kind of mechanic. It serves only to punish the player while hiding behind the veil of "difficulty" and "challenge". Can it be done in ways that feel more fair, sure. But the example in this short was a case of it being used poorly which is what I dislike.

I'm going to say this as simply as I can... if you can't handle differing opinions without being an ass and can't have a respectful discussion, just leave. Tbh a lot of the design of the temple itself also seems to draw from Mesoamerican cultures. So this theory is likely pretty close to the mark. That being said it is creepy to think about.

That is another theory that exists about his chants. There are at least 3 popular theories but I couldn't cover all of them in a 60 second long short. One of the popular theories is that his chants are literally just him saying his name. Another is that his chants are actually in ancient Mayan. And yet another theory involves audio manipulation by reversing the tracks and/or slowing them down to be able to make out what they're saying in English.

I couldn't help on that part. I've only ever played the official release of Pokemon Yellow. My only guess is that Yellow Legacy changes the associated special value required to produce a Mew.

@@theomniwildcard i guess ill just keep trying. i have tried it over 10 times but when i try bring up the menu it doesnt respond quick enough. i use the enter key to bring up menu but i click it multiple times and it dont even come up when i press it at this point of the game. i cant get it to come up till im dropped off outside the gymi really want to do this glitch because mew is my fav BUT i have never had a mew in any pokemon game. i get mewtwo easy enough though

@@soapfan I mean I used a USB controller when I did this but that shouldn't be the problem. What emulator are you using to do it?
