@thenguyen5659 you may probably need to open your door panel to see if the cable had snapped. Does it have any resistance when trying to open the door for the internal handle?

@ no, the door inside or outside still open and close fine. Just the exterior handle like sticky not spring back in. It super cold in my area now. Ill try to open panel out to check but if you have a idea please let me know

@stephanycarmichael4573 mine was just the button which turns it on and off. Releasing the button switches it off.

unfortunately not for me… I may not have tried it enough times tbh. However sounds like the mechanism has failed and may need a garage to look at it. Thanks for sharing your experience with this issue. I have had this car for several months and only happened during this 2024 cold December month

I have same issue, had passengers rear fixed under warranty, now out of warranty and in cold recently drivers rear now has same issue.

Unfortunately I did not take a video of how I do it, but it is pretty simple, you just need to search for 'Drive Mode' in ORBIT and change the setting to 'With drive mode selector', if I recall correctly.

No. There's no short circuit. My amp is the base model that does not have the signal for centre speaker. My left and right speaker channels are still working

@@yokechye But your video shows the wago 4 - 2 adaptor with 2xRED->1xRED and 2xBLUE->1xBLUE. This will create an electrical connection between the Left and Right speaker channels. In essence you connect L+R audio into one mono channel.

@johnnySE it's just mono for the centre speaker. Essentially, it's just anesthetic

@yokechye since you create mono from L and R door speaker you must realise that there is no more left or right playing in the door speakers, they are now the same channel (mono) too. Your connection also works backwards to the doors. Think about the electric result of that 4-2 connector. It works both ways.

I'm not quite sure though. My guess you will still need to get an Orbit account and program it to let the car know you got a set of fog. But it also meant you need to get a CEM pin and warranty of your car may be void once Volvo found out after they plug into their Vida. T8 XC90 will not be able to install fog.

@linassteponavicius1681 it did. And later on I had the child lock error popping up on my dash, which is a sign of the potential locking mechanism failure. The method still works. However, recently the lock totally failed and had to open up the internal panels with the door in closed position, in-order to open the door and get the lock replaced.

Well, i eventually find out by trying. If any one whants to know, the codes are: Make sure the "452 DRIVE MODE SWITCH" is unset (00-Undefined) Put "057 DRIVE MODE" to "02 With Drive Mode switch" At the beggining i faild to put it to work because i tried a bunch of diferent ones (like 337, for instance). But in the end i put everything to OEM and just tried one by one. The 057 did the trick.
