I enjoyed your video and can relate to pretty much everything that you’ve experienced. I started at the age of 45 in a mod and felt long in the tooth. The competition was way tougher than I ever imagined. I totaled my first car. The second raise walked away with some bruises and bumps and got back into another car started to learn about set ups and what track conditions are like just all the hang in the top 10 a couple times is a challenge them guys are fast. But it’s truly been a great experience and looking forward to next season.

Yes his prices are accurate if you know nothing about racing and have no tools or welding machine to build anything your self. I can build a complete roller imca/ump mod with a up to date chassis by copying a brand new car from a friend of mine who buys a new up to date chassis every year and lets me use his to build my own copy and jig so that way if he needs to re clip his we already have the huge setup from when it was new to re clip it out self. I can build a brand new 2024 imca/ump modified chassis from ground up to a complete roller ready for motor trans electronics seat weights gauges complete roller except for anything that isn't chassis related and including rear end fully built when I say complete roller with custom valved built shocks cause I have my own shock dyno and build my own shocks and my roller will cost me a grand total of 1300 dollars to build a up to date brand new 2024 shaw chassis for example or a any chassis for that matter. That's just the cost of materials. If you have time guys and invest into a welding machine and some thick metal and build a long straight steel table that has 1/2 inch thick plate steel across the top as the base/top for the chassis jig table and then take a old chassis or any chassis and put it on the table and build a jig around it then copy it by bending and welding the chassis you self you to can slowly build a car over a few years for the cost of a brand new chassis or roller you can have everything setup to build your own chassis for a life time and save alot of money in the long run. Spend the money on tools equipment and setup your shop correctly before buying a car and then build your own car it will save you tons of money plus you will know alot more about your car to where you can set it up your self easier and know everything about it and when it gets wrecked you can re clip it your self for the cost of a new clip of its a stock stub clip like a imca stock car pure stock or street stock or for the price of a new front clip from what ever manufacturer you used to copy the chassis or do like I do for full tube chassis cars build my own front clip and build two extra front clips and two extra rear clips while I'm building the chassis on the jig I built so I don't gotta make a clip when I need to re clip. Yes it's easier to buy a brand new chassis from a good chassis builder but you learn a lot and save alot ofkney buy copying a chassis builder chassis and building it yourself. I have done it with asphalt and dirt super latest, asphalt and dirt mods and asphalt and dirt super stocks street stocks and my asphalt super truck I copied a nice pro builder built chassis for my pro truck as well. I have saved hundreds of thousands of dollars buy building my own jig and chassis my self. And have won lots of races and even sold a few and those cars some are now 10-15 years old on asphalt of course and still running upfront against brand new up to date chassis in outlaw stock latemodels which basically a prolate model with an outlaw body and a 604 crate motor throughout a date to run as a super late model anymore but they're good enough to run in that class and then the pro truck I built is still running to this day and running up front and that chassis is 12 years old and I have a dirt modified chassis a shawl copy I built and it's going on 9 years old in the guys still running up front with it and it's only need to be replipped twice in its life I am proof that you can build a copy of a brand new 2024/2025 chassis of any race car you want and run up front with it it's not hard just takes a lot of work to build a jig and make sure your jig is square and level to the chassis then of course make sure you measure every bar exactly and just copy it. But if you don't know anybody that has a chassis you can really build your own chassis without having one next to you you just got to look up the blueprints for one and go from there and then once you get to know people then someone will let you borrow their chassis to copy off of or get an older like shawl or older chicks like three or four years old or even 10 years old and just get the updated front clip and rear clip and just reclip the car with a new clip that way the geometry is updated like everyone else's. But I can build a brand new race car from the ground up for $12,000 bucks of run up front with it and it'll just be like any other car out there that's a 30 40 $50,000 race car in the IMCA stock car class or a UMP mod or even INCA modifieds and I can build them for 12 13,000 race ready it'll be the exact same thing as an $80,000 race car $30,000 car it's all if you want to do the work all yourself and learn everything or have someone else build your car for you like an engine build or a chassis builder a shock builder transmission guy rear end guy etc The only thing I don't build is my engines everything else I do myself because the engines have to be very exact to run great and run up front and I trust my engine builder way more than I trust myself when it comes to a 10k dollar plus latemodel or modified engine. Now for a imca stock car or street stock or pure stock that is non crate motor I'll build the engine my self and run up front all year long with it.

Dang it bud I feel for y'all, I was excited for sure, when I saw the cut screen I knew wasn't good!! You got started racing hobbystock about the same time I did about 3 years ago and I'm glad to have found your channel on UA-cam!! Y'all have a great team and its only a matter of time before you win the big race, everyone working hard together, having a driver and mech in the seat is big in dirt track racin!! Here's to hoping Manny and myself have a better season than we did in the hobbystock class, he's tough as nails, just got to catch a few breaks!! Is your home track done for the season already? Down here in Missouri they are running a little longer every year because the weather is been so mild. Some run into late October.
