i grew to 15k nearly in 3 months...if you just start a new channel and you will for sure pop off if your channel is shadow banned but i doubt its that I do think gaming is saturated though

Hey man, this video was randomly suggested to me, and I always try to watch smaller channels to get a different perspective. Today, your video is the one I'm watching :) So let me give you some solid UA-cam advice... 1. Several topics - Keep one topic or genre on this channel. If you game, keep it gaming. If you do politics, then stick to politics. There are no limits to how many channels you can have, so if you want to do multiple topics then create secondary channels to your main to cover those topics. The audience you develop for one idea, may not be interested in a new topic. This hurts in the "algorithm" which I'll touch on later. Basically, find your niche, and stick to it. 2. "Algorithm" - Don't think of the algorithm as an algorithm, think of it as your audience. If your audience really likes a topic, they will engage with it. This engagement is what drives youtube to recommend your video to new viewers. Focusing on your audience's needs while maintaining the personality that they have come to love is tricky and takes lots of "test and compare" videos/topics. When you find what works for you, capitalize on it. Also, just some personal advice I want to throw in here, watch your peers and the people just above you in your genre. Learn from their mistakes so you don't make them yourself. Invaluable advice. 3. Cussing - I suffer from a similar problem that you do. I love to cuss and have no problem dropping the f-bomb in real life as much as(or more than) I do in real life. I have tried it all, cut back the cussing, cut it out all together, and of course, just let it fly, baby! I've come to a conclusion on this one, and verified it with my partner manager(someone who works at youtube) Cussing doesn't matter... until it does. Basically if you cuss here and there, ok, but if you cuss all the time and flagrantly, then not ok. Don't cuss for the first 2 minutes to be safe. After that, feel free to cuss as much as you want, just not flagrantly. You will get just as much in ad revenue as you would if you didn't cuss at all. I don't say "No cussing at all" because I feel like when I go out of my way to not cuss, my audience engages with my videos less. Mostly because they can feel that I'm not being my true self. So always be you, just try not to be you tooooo much lol And finally 4. Deleting your videos - Don't do it. Bottom line, there is no need to delete anything that doesn't break TOS. This never helps anyone, and will only hurt your growth potential as deleted views appear as negative views in your data, and youtube uses this data when determining whose video to push to their front page aka "new users" Just leave it up. Your future audience will greatly appreciate being able to go back and watch the first version of you, before you evolve into whatever kind of content creator you become in the future. Well that's all. I needed a break from working, as I am currently recording my own new video, and felt like addressing some of the issues that you are having, as I have had these issues in the past as well. I will say that I speak from experience and not from emotion, and what I say has worked for me. Whether it would ever work for someone else, idk, but I hope whatever path you choose, it works for you! Take care and good luck!

What's strange is, I've never seen any of your stuff and this just popped up in my recommended. I don't even watch videos about any of the games you've played either. Maybe it's trying to show your videos to people interested in "gaming" in general or something?? Idk how it works at all. Regardless, it'd be a shame to delete all your videos. Maybe make them private for a while until you get a good foothold in whatever niche you wanna go for?
