Felling a 75’ pine between a shed - DH with a Kevlar beanie and all the osha violations
We were taught to NOT cut the wedge from the trunk, because when it falls, it can do a moonwalk backwards along the flat top of the stump. If we cut the slope down into the stump, the FLAT bottom of the trunk will safely ride down the slope as it falls, under best control.
@@rtel123 not sure who taught you buddy or even what you’re trying to say. Cuz what you just said makes no sense are you just making up terminology as you go?
Why, looked beautiful
I would love to get $8000 for a tree like that. Hard to tell from the limited video, but I’d guesstimate that would be a $4500-$5000 tree in my area.
👍💪✨🎀🍀🌞🥂
Too risky
how? do you even cut trees? every tree poses some risk, would you please explain your
Great job man
Good ol Chris Basnight 🤙🏼
only real ones will know, man you know it!! Thats Big Bro!!
lol that's crazy! in a good way.
So Samuel L Jackson retired from acting, and cuts trees now?
That echo sounds good
Man is confident…as he should be 👍
I was going to make a joke about the echo saws. But them jerking on that rope is stupid. Keep a steady pull.
Nobody was jerking on the rope. There’s a 5:1 mechanical advantage set up with friction hitch progress capture. That’s as steady of a pull as you can get with what we are trying to do if you can comprehend, we left 😁🙃the hinge wood thick purposefully to have more control pulling it over You ever played tug of war with five people on one side and one person on the other side? probably not but the five people could just stand there and pull the rope Mr with her hands and then pull more up and pull more up so what you may think is jerking is just controlled pulling buddy
@@Noble.Disciplethey was all jerking on the rope. Nobody was giving a steady person pull.
Thump!!!
Way to screw up the yard 🤷♂️
What do you suggest they do instead in order to protect the lawn? You can't, I expect they repaired the minor gouge. It landed just about perfectly flat to keep damage minimal. Props to this company for threading the needle and having full control of that massive log throughout the entire process. 👏
@@scottrobson4097 1. Cut smaller sections. 2. Lay cut branches out about 4" diameter and land the logs on them.
Yeah I’d rather have an insurance claim after it falls on my house too..
You talking about the dirt yard? Lol
buddy its called top soil and a little grass seed. you climb a 90' pine with a ground saw then you can "cut smaller sections" but until then you might think you sound smart but I can tell you've never climbed a tree with a chainsaw in your life.
You sure I didn’t get dropped by the F-15 just flying though
Flat
Good job guys
Climb higher
Buddy why don’t you watch the whole video of the tree coming down. I did climb higher after we dismantled this tree an I took the top out, then on my way down I took two more plugs out block and tackle. Why in the world wood I climb higher ?
Don't think I would stand behind that while it's dropping ...not likely to kickback but better safe than sorry!
Do you know where the safest place to stand is when cutting a tree down?
First and only black dude I seen with some chainsaw skill
💀 I mean you're not wrong it's just..
Nice work
Nice job but why not block it down lower vs taking that chance
There was no chances. It’s called being technical and utilizing mechanical advantages. You literally are saying why don’t you do more work and take more time to do what could’ve already been done? Maybe for somebody like yourself who doesn’t know how to cut a tree down
Craftsmen doing their thing
Nicely done
That's not how id do it!!
@@mowsgrass7747 how would you do it Mr. “Mows GRASS” sir?..
@@Noble.Disciplecut the hinges right where you don't need 5-6 men pulling it down for you. Also the face cut was not correct.
@@JDog801 you clearly didn’t understand what was actually going on
@@JDog801 😂can we see you doing it as a demonstration ? Oh okay
Looked like it worked fine to me🤣🤦♂️🤷♀️
Great job MAN!!!
NICE 👌
2 brand new saws would have me scared to death and double checking that insurance policy
Especially Echo brand.
The helmet should tell you this isn't his first rodeo
Echo saws? Really? I didnt know they made pro saws?
They make pro saws, but I've never seen pros use them. Apparently loggers in Canada use them.
Best saws I have ever used! I was a stihl man for 15yrs for the last 6 years that's all I use!
@@jessemitchell425 are they cheaper than Stihl?
@@lillmeca1983 much cheaper
Bro echo is nice I use a tree climber one 14 inch and throw it in the Subaru Everytime go out hiking or camping clears everything I need and used it for side jobs tree trimmings. Easy money worth the 300$
Proper knotch the tree would have stay connected your hing wood was not enough
😂
Amateurs don't understand you can use hinge wood to control the fall. 🙏🙌
Is that TPain cutting trees ? Sounds just like him
Sounds like Samuel Jackson to me
Very nice
Got a dollar
@@plumbersasacracker7906 donations accepted😂
Sweet drop, brothers!
You're a little cross cut but it was definitely a good drop.
6 guys pulling on a 30-40 foot log, that should be easy for the amateurs
Saw that log . It will make good lumber .
He tore the heartwood out. The mill won't pay for the bottom 4 feet
Lmao these guys using Ecko saws. Id run you off my jobsite with junk like that. Husqvarna or Stihl. No excuses
Gd job bro
👏🏼👍🏼
Stay Safe 👍
S@&t happens-you have insurance for a reason. If no one was hurt, the rest can be repaired/replaced. Is that a tree house built around the tree at the bottom? 🤔
Yes it is a tree house at the bottom! haha
it's called a tag-line but hey, you look good up in that tree well right up to a point, lol
Worst part is, they had one, bro was just lazy and didn't clean the top out and just decided to be lazy.
not the case at all if you pay attention you can see the operator in the truck let the top sit back on my cut and pinched my saw, at that point I told him to go and instead of pulling with steady pressure he guns it and angled his wheel right towards the house and ripped the top off of its hinge wood.
Stupid
Didn't hurt it by the look of it
Ruining the lawn...
Maybe you underestimate what a homeowner can pay, with what a tree service charges? How’s that, Dream Police??
@@davesteier-xf5lh Huh? No reason to trash things while doing your job.
There is for those that believe time is money. And customers these days, that can’t afford their own insurance and property taxes, certainly don’t want to pay you to have yours. If I give you a $3.5k estimate and you insist and settle on $1k, guess what???
Buddy, let me see you cut down a tree without messing the yard up without taking two days. It’s called topsoil and grass seed sweetheart because you see that log on the ground like that does not mean the ground is gonna stay like that buddy. @randallsmerna384
Facts man @davesteier-xf5lh
Esta meio fraco tem que treinar mas
I'll take the two pieces from the notch. End tables.
Video would've been much better without that annoying music
Damn that’s crazy lmaoo
I am surprised that even needed a back cut with as big as that face cut was
What did you do before skid steer was around?
