What do you suggest they do instead in order to protect the lawn? You can't, I expect they repaired the minor gouge. It landed just about perfectly flat to keep damage minimal. buddy its called top soil and a little grass seed. you climb a 90' pine with a ground saw then you can "cut smaller sections" but until then you might think you sound smart but I can tell you've never climbed a tree with a chainsaw in your life.

Buddy why don’t you watch the whole video of the tree coming down. I did climb higher after we dismantled this tree an I took the top out, then on my way down I took two more plugs out block and tackle. Why in the world wood I climb higher ?

not the case at all if you pay attention you can see the operator in the truck let the top sit back on my cut and pinched my saw, at that point I told him to go and instead of pulling with steady pressure he guns it and angled his wheel right towards the house and ripped the top off of its hinge wood.

Maybe you underestimate what a homeowner can pay, with what a tree service charges? How’s that, Dream Police??
