Curtis is breaking in his home built 1950 with panchito heads. He was not happy with how loud the A1 was and decided to try a different exhaust. The A1 was also a very tight fit even rubbing some parts of the body that could lead to overheating the metal and burning the paint, very narrow space for the recessed oil filter hoses.
Installation was a breeze, MAF exhaust came with all the necessary hardware and we were very impressed with the construction quality.

Its the original 4 speed manual, not sure the specs for it. The car is at the body shop now, will look great soon!!

@@tiuwilla o pessoal no geral adora vw. Os sp2 e TC são diferwntes e o pessoal acha muito bacana, kombi tem as alemãs então se vc não falar o pessoal não reconhece. Existe uma resistência da kombi brasileira vs a alemã no meio dos vw entusiastas, acham que as kombi brasileiras têm qualidade pior

By the way, this steering wheel seems to be from the 1973 model. In 1974 VW changed the design

had same clutch catter on 75 trans am had out 3 times finaly changed clutch and pressure plate working perfect cant get good parts anymore every part on build is brand new can not live with chatter was driving me crazy
Yeah I will need a better clutch… hope that will solve this problem

I have a 73, your gauges are way different. Dash handle? Did you customize the dash? I like way better
Headliner cam isn't quite working out for the test drive. Sounds strong though, but I'd expect nothing less from anything Butler builds.

the brazilian kombi must share the early shifter and linkage. 63 and earlier. because my 66 and 67 have shift positions almost near the seat. yours are knuckle busters like my early ones.

Really nice review brother!!! For sure the GT 350 is a special and beautiful car. And the sound the Voodoo engine makes is music for my ears too 😁. Eu comprei agora em dezembro/2020 um GT350R Heritage Edition aqui em Miami e é sem dúvida o melhor carro que já tive. Let me know if you guys show up here in Miami and we can ride together. how's the motor going now ? sounds fantastic !
Its pretty strong and no issues so far. Changed the oil twice with minimum (normal) flaking, especially in the first change. The clutch improved a bit but still vibrates so I will need at one point to upgrade that part...
