Unfortunately, my T36 had been having some cycling issues. I'm still trying to figure out what the cause of the problem. I tried different ammos and sometimes it runs well with steel case and not with certain brands of brass case. Tommy Built sent me a new bolt head and the problem went away then came back. Not sure if it needs some break-in period. Never experienced those problems with my Bren 2 and Scar 16.

Hey I just got a NF 4-16x42mm in but haven't mounted it yet. Kind of thinking about sending it back for the 4-20x50 f1, same reticle. For an 18" 5.56 build. Just stick with it or go with the bigger objective and slightly higher top end magnification?

I have put in an order for the ZF-5 premium package and should've done some homework in regard to reviews etc. Seems that there are a few recent videos with these types of issues of jamming, stove piping and can't finish a full mag and so on. Cancelling my order because, don't want to spend that kind of money and get a supposedly nice firearm that you can trust or use. Thanks for sharing your video. Cancelling my order first thing tomorrow morning.

This is really interesting. My background is predominantly just being a dude interested in SUT combined with wilderness and semi-urban sustainment. I took that interest into the infantry for a little bit. All the basic, fundamental concepts we learned seemed… basic and fundamental. The more exposure I get to individual concepts, I realize everything is just those same concepts and fundamentals taken to their natural conclusion. Whether additional care, discipline, funding, or time allotment, a lot of these things are just deep dives into what you thought you understood, but didn’t, or understood but over thank and took the wrong way. Thanks for sharing, interested to see the progress so many can make in this community with people like you, Matt Pranka, Ben etc bringing actual information and performance to the table instead of egos.

One of the reasons I got the HK was that they are dead-nuts reliable. Not gee, I hope I get a good one, not wow, what a great warranty department, none of that. Not a single malfunction in well over 5K rounds. If ya can't afford one I get it, but if not and you are using it for competition or HD just the absolute reliability is worth the extra bucks even if the price is annoying.

The DLC peeling of is unfortunately not uncommon. I saw whole 5.56 bolt covered in dots which happened to be peeled off dlc.

Several years shooting skeet,trap,and sporting clays have just given me so much confidence with a pump shotgun. Shotguns for in the house, ARs for outside the house. Really dig the convo!

Looking to get a tripod. Admittedly I don’t know much on them. I’ve been told that 2 Vets and Vortex make good tripods. Have heard mixed opinions on Bog. Definitely would rather buy once, cry once. Anybody have any opinions on what works for them?

Love the videos. Recently got the Subrevtech SOPMOD enhanced low profile lever and bag rider for my stock. Pretty solid upgrades for a decent cost. Haven’t accidentally compressed my stock with a bag under recoil yet but figured help avoid it. Gonna be swapping a SOLGW 18” precision barrel onto my M4-89 upper. Can’t wait to dive down the precision shooting rabbit hole once I finally decide on a scope. I may have possibly for sure bought my mount first. Oops. 🇺🇸

People hate on Daniel defense but I love them.

That's kinda the nature of the beast. Mine was fine out of the box, and only needed a new locking piece at 5k rounds the barrels about to go out now at 20,000, but I can't really complain. Had tons of fun with her, and I'm close to having enough put away, to being able to get my transferable, so for me at least I'd say it was a great owner's experience.

Variety is spice? Don't you only have like 2 calibers there like buying 5 of the same car is different colors.
