    Do you think it can cut large size stencils? I've had a Cricut maker for a couple years and I want to scale up. Please and thank you, great video.

    Wow, you're super extravagant with materials. All that for a tiny cut. Maybe I'm just a cheapskate. I have just purchased the Vevor 28in. Thanks.

    I just got the Vevor 34 inch machine with software a stand and cables for 237.00 with free shipping. I am replacing my old Summacut D60/U which is not compatible with my new computer and while I have had it for quite a few years I have never really liked it that much. Once I got it set up it did a good job cutting but the setting up was always a pain. I hope the Vevor will be better. I think I paid about 3 grand for the Summacut and am going to try and sell it on EBay. Thanks for the video. I used to use CoCut with Corel but no longer use Corel. I was a Corel user from Version 3 all the way up to just a couple of years ago when the got all predatory with their subscription pricing. Now I use Inkscape and am very happy with it.

    I just got the 28" Vevor for under $200, and it does an excellent job. My 30" Seiki was like $750 and the Vevor keeps up with it. I don't know that it will last over 15 years like the Seiki has, but at that price point, it don't have to.

    Vevor vinyl cutters have a major flaw. I know I have owned two. The pinch rollers dig into the material. Its fine if its a small piece you only use the rollers on the edge of the material but when cutting larger pieces you need the center pinch roller so it tracks. You get what you pay for!!

    • @wyattsmith391
      @wyattsmith391 4 місяці тому

      Have you tried adjusting the tension so they don't dig into the material? Your sound adjust it with different materials

    Hello, I just watched your video and tho it was very interesting, I need more in depth training on how to set my machine up to cut paint mask lettering and design stencils for airbrushing. I used to have a sign shop that would make everything I need for a small price, hand it to me, and I would rush home, apply the stencil, follow with any needed masking and then once all of my colors were mixed, I could airbrush my way to some really cool 3D lettering and more over the top of whatever paint project I was doing. I bought all the equipment and materials, but don't have a clue how to set up the cutter plotter and also don't have a clue how to operate the software. I really thought this was going to be much easier to figure out but I was wrong. Are there any books or videos out there that teach this amazing trade from the very beginning, to the end, and everything in between? I really need help and am willing to purchase whatever I need to learn. I bought the Vevor 53" cutter/plotter, then tons of software to do everything you can imagine, but need to learn how to use all of it. I really appreciate what you do to help people, I'm sorry I'm so far away from understanding but hopefully one day I could pull this off and learn how to do everything my old sign shop did for me until I retired and moved far away to Southern Nevada. Thank you for thinking about this

    I wasn't looking for this video content, but I stayed and watched the whole thing. (I originally came for your Vevor test--- which was very helpful) I'm toying with the idea of a website and this gives me encouragement to go ahead and try it -- albeit imperfectly. I never considered video, as I'm averse to being in front of any camera--- but the way you presented this gives me pause. Maybe it IS just a skill that I could master. So, tally this comment in the positive column. Thanks for posting!

    • @yammerinthehammer
      @yammerinthehammer 8 місяців тому

      absolutely...any skill can be mastered with practice and the sooner we realize that we are not all perfect and there is always room for improvement it gives us hope that we can do it and anything is possible!...I am super happy this gave you encouragement.

      Receiving the vinyl tomorrow, finalizing the graphics but won't be applied for at least another month when it gets warmer. Will post another video on the cutting / application and final product. Thank for the interest, posting another video later this week this time regarding the Bronco. Have FUN with the cutter, for the price it is fantastic, We have a 53" Roland Cutter at the Makerspace which I use as well (cost is $10,000) and this ne cuts just as nice...maybe not as fast but who cares, time to chill!

    Will your machine cut Oracle Vinyl?

    • @yammerinthehammer
      @yammerinthehammer 10 місяців тому

      sorry for the late response...no excuses. Yes it will...there is an adjustment that allows you to change pressure very easily as all vinyls are slightly different so doing a test cut prior to each vinyl change especially from manufacturer to manufacturer is recommended. I was using 70 grams of pressure and just put on an unknown brand and had to reduce it to 40 grams (will also go up all the way to 600 grams of pressure for thicker materials)

    • @yammerinthehammer
      @yammerinthehammer 10 місяців тому

      sorry for the late response...no excuses. You would need to use the software for cutting as inkspace does not have the drivers. You would just need to import your file into Signmaster as an .svg or .ai etc. (any vector based file format)
