Hey good folks, in this video you can see a pick and partial gut of NicVT's challenge lock No.6, dubbed Amelia Keyheart.

I had a lot of fun picking this lock, and I really hate parting with it, but since challenge locks are meant as a picking challenge to be passed around in the community, I kinda have to. So, early bird gets the worm, and whomever calls dibs first is the next one to have fun with this beautiful cl.
And remember kids, keep locksport fun and legal, pick only locks which you own, and wash your teeth before sleep.

@@Dotslocks14 thank you, brother. Your kind words and support are appreciated. My gutting is far from perfect, but I am getting better with each new gut. This one was pretty clean compared to my first ones. Btw, I'm hoping to see you pick the 1 dot. Looking forward to it 🤘
Also, if you don't have the huk gutting set, I would highly recommend it. With a bit of an effort you can find it for about 20$, and it really helps a lot with gutting. 10/10 would recommend

Yeah, that's a first secwise I encountered as well. Yup, for some reason those clicks always get amplified on video. I was pleasantly surprised at how clear they are

Thise cheap sets tend to be evryones first regretful purchase. I figure that if it got you into a hobby you really enjoy, maybe the purchase wasnt all that bad in the end...
@@TheLockDudeAbides lpl and need to open a door I lost key for is what got me into the hobby. Also, I bought one other cheap Chinese set before this one. That first one is actually quite decent. My very first pick is the one I made myself, so unfortunately I have no justification for this regretful purchase :) but I will try to get some time to sand them down to something useful. Maybe there is chance to save this investment yet 😁

@alexgmYT which one? The small tensioner? It is from a pen pocket clip. I broke it off of a pen just to see if it could work, and it turned out to be perfect for smaller locks
