The dead bodies increase significantly in recent years because there are organized tours catered to those who have no experience but have money and want to brag about conquering mount everest. From basic package $60k to luxury $200k, a non mountaineer can be flown to the base camp, then after acclimated to high altitude, move to the higher camp by guides. Those tourists never have to carry anything. Literally hand holding to reach the top, if they made it. Using money to buy them bragging rights. Most of the traffic jam on the last mile of the climbs are caused by those tour groups.

I find it completely unacceptable that anyone would use a corpse for navigation, or have them littered along the route to the summit at all. It's not ok. If they can't be removed, then treat the mountain like the graveyard it is, and stop all climbing. I do not approve of this disrespect of bodies. Sorry.
