We are doing newsies and this kid got crutchie, he sings so amazing and has made me almost cry like every week 😭

For some reason, (even though he says brother) I get a vibe from this moment especially that Crutchie may have had a crush on Jack? Just the way the actor sings the heartfelt lyrics so dreamily feels like it fits so well. I think that may be a interesting way to look at the character, considering there doesn't seem to be any obviously LGBTQ+ characters in this musical. I just get a vibe from Crutchie which is hard to explain, but it feels like in this scene the lyrics were sung for a love intrest. The lyrics also can be really heartfelt dedication to a brother. Overall, I really thought this moment was touching.

I wanna do newsies but my school doesnt do musicals ever and we currently have like 10 people is theatre. Im praying that next year we will either get more people or maybe the choir kids wanna join in the musical. We probably wont do a musical ever.
